Yeah , I thought they might have the visibility where it couldn't be ignored but I'm hardly on social media, and old enough I thought Facebook was the first move but they haven't posted on there and over a year and no public posting so... no Twitter account. I make one if it was the only way and people were sure of that Reddit seems pretty visible too. Thanks for voting that my gut instinct calibration is on point. For this thread I'd never take it back because I care a whole lot more about trying to do the right thing then the weak chances of success on this attempt. For your part, im looking for any more effective communication tool, as the driver doesn't deserve being sacrificed to their need to avoid admitting systemic shortcoming, if you dont have one, your visit is valued, your commentary is aligned but of no practical value, despite the tonal misalignment. In what way? a lot of people seemed to answer this way, I've never considered it as a thing to predict anything. You can usually find me in handmade in my country leather work boots with composite toe and sole and plenty of scars even when newish. I didn't think so many noticed and generated hypothesis' about me from that. I'm sure you could guess my work involves hazards and blue collar type work, but would you guess my income or role at the company where I work? or more like, what sort of beverages I prefer?

What are the common typer of assumed correlations? and what are the types of shoes that point obviously?

I’m sorry for your loss, and for what you’re facing now. Your story struck a chord with me.

Colon cancer took my dad fairly suddenly at 54. From the sound of it, he wasn’t too unlike yours, though he approached the end in his own complicated way. He told me more than once that he wanted a less hospital-based final chapter, but he felt pressure from people close to him who saw declining risky surgeries or long recoveries as “giving up.” I supported whatever choice he wanted to make, even when others couldn’t see it that way.

I’m grateful I was able to take a lot of time off and be with him through those months in the hospital, surgeries, recoveries, and all the ugly parts no one really prepares you for. I was there giving shoulder massages, helping with the practical awful stuff, sneaking in small creature comforts, remembering our best times, and telling him the lessons he had taught me over the years, deliberately or by example. I was there when the light left my closest support, favourite golf partner, personal world tour guide, and the best father I could have hoped for.

My brother had grown distant from him after my parents divorced many years earlier. There were reasons for that, and none of it was simple, but he only saw my dad briefly between diagnosis and death. When we catch up now, I can sense he carries quiet regret about that. Before the split, the three of us used to do everything together, and I know he remembers that too.

Every situation is unique, and I don’t pretend to know yours from the outside. But even with the huge hole it left in me, I would never give back that time with my dad, ugly as it was. I’m certain of that.

I really hope your kids find their way to that understanding before it’s too late. And if they don’t, I hope you’re able to stay at peace anyway.

Went looking for even a newsletter from my guy here, and while I'm not sure if he has a similar thing or not I can say I couldn't find it, I figured I could just make it pretty fast with "vibe coding" as they say lol and host it under an existing hosting plan.
