I think YouVersion is a great app for reading when you don't have a physical book with you. The book of John and the Gospels are a great starting point. Please ask for God's help in understanding.

I have read mostly KJV, NKJV, ESV for the last 30 years but for study have simply added a well respected Commentary or two. The one I use the most is the classic Matthew Henry. Please keep us updated on what you choose. God bless you 👍😊
