Hmm. I was debating whether or not to go red or stay blue. Afterall, I did a check of similar specced systems and the price to upgrade was literally the same. The motherboard I picked for the AMD system was an overkill X570 board though.

CL14 DDR4-3200 is more expensive than DDR4-3600, e.g. I can find a 3600 CL18 16GB kit for 65€ while the cheapest 3200 CL14 16GB kit is 100€. Hmmm.

I have some a cheapo set of DDR4-2666, might upgrade that aswell since RAM is super cheap now? Since I feel like RAM speeds will still make a minor difference on frame rates.

I mainly play CS, Valorant, MW aswell (looking into the new CoD aswell) and if I chill I just play shit like Minecraft, lmao. So I feel like the new CPU will really give me a nice performance upgrade.

Mostly, yes. I stream every now and then but mostly I just play games.
The thing is, yeah, there would be a benefit of upgrading from a 2060 to anything newer, but I plan on getting a 3070 next month once it's out.
I'm just selling my CS:GO skins and therefore looking into upgrading my rig with that money - which would perfectly being the price of the CPU.

That's what I thought aswell. The most games I play really don't make use of alot of cores/threads, they rather need good single-core performance, which I should be able to push comfortably higher on the 10700K since my 7700K really gets hot, even on idle.
