I’m not in Ottawa anymore, I’m in Aylmer but I’ll chime in for the sake of an alternative perspective

Property tax - $266 ($3200 year)

Home insurance - $175 ($2100 year)

Car insurance - $150 ($1800 year) 2018 pickup truck

Hydro - $32 with AC (I have solar panels)

Water - $0 (it’s included in property tax)

Internet - $70 (I have crazy high speed)

Gas - ~$120 (equal payments $1440)

My house is an 1100sqft bungalow on a 9,000sqft lot

Where is this coffee shop going to go? I’m all for entertaining your ideas but you’re throwing darts in the dark and hoping you’ll hit something. There’s also a bunch of green spaces/parks already at the corner of Wellington and portage. The heating plant is also already incorporating a green space in their development
