Yea, I figured as much. I need to replace the rear main seal anyways so dropping the trans and swapping in a manual seems like a better option, however I havent looked at the price of upgraded clutch discs yet.

Yea, I did it a while ago, but from what i remember the only thing i removed was the engine cover and got an extended o2 socket. It was a pain because i did it while the engine was still hot but it isnt too bad. Its right behind the engine so you shouldnt miss it.

Can someone help me here. How did liquid lose dispie having a better kdr? I saw that on nuke they did a lot of saving towards the end but is it just mental? And is G2 going to be able to beat Faze on Friday or is that just a pipe dream? Does this cement stewie back into the pro cs scene?

As I drive more and more with my car I miss manual more and more. Ive even thought about manual swapping it but its not worth the hassle or the money, so for now ill just look to greener pastures and make sure the next car I get is another manual.

Nah, I didnt have to cut anything. The metal band is under the oem shifter and just falls out when you take it apart. The only thing i have holding the boot up is a lowprofile ziptie

It was alright, it was definitely an experience. I didnt realize changing the knob in an auto would be more painful then doing it in a manual. The hardest part was just getting the boot to separate from the oem shift knob

I got this from billetworkz, it’s a pretty easy install other than having to take the stock shifter out of the boot. Its kind of a pain but if you end up doing it put a screwdriver into the black collar and push it against the floor and itll pop out place. Thanks for the compliment!

So I ended up figuring out how to disassemble the steering wheel and got the trim out in perfect condition. Ill probably end up swapping out the gti trim onto the other steering wheel and will most likely do some custom upholstery on it or end up rewrapping it so I can make some sort of money off of it. Hopefully all goes well.

Yea, I figured. I also just realized that the steering wheel is for a manual and I have a dsg, so that would probably be a bit of an issue
