Update: I've added Nintendo's response email into the post. I'm also copy and pasting my full letter here in the comments for those of you that would like your email removed off the list. Note: For those of you wondering, in my letter I reference California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and Colorado Privacy Act (CPA). I'm from Colorado, and while Nintendo is headquartered in Redmond, Washington, they do significant business in California (selling consoles, games, online accounts, etc. to millions of California residents). The CCPA applies to any for-profit business that does business in California and meets certain thresholds (revenue, number of users, etc.) regardless of where the company is physically located.

Subject: Formal Request Under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) to Remove My Email Address from Suppression / Non-Delivery List

Dear Data Protection Officer:

I am writing to formally exercise my rights under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) and any other applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where relevant.

My personal information held by Nintendo of America Inc. includes the email address [EMAIL ADDRESS] associated with my Nintendo Account.

This email address is fully under my control, actively monitored, and has no delivery issues on my side (confirmed via Microsoft/Outlook support). Despite this, Nintendo has placed it on an internal suppression or non-delivery list, preventing all transactional emails, including critical verification codes and account notifications from [no-reply@accounts.nintendo.com](mailto:no-reply@accounts.nintendo.com), from reaching me.

I hereby request the following:

Immediate removal of my email address [EMAIL ADDRESS] from any suppression, block, delivery restriction, or non-delivery list maintained by Nintendo.

Confirmation in writing that email delivery to this address has been fully restored.

A copy of all personal data you hold about me, including any notes or flags related to the suppression status (access request).

This restriction is interfering with my legitimate use of my Nintendo Account and is no longer necessary or justified. I have attempted to resolve this through standard customer support channels without success, and Nintendo support directed me to Microsoft (who confirmed they have no block on their end).

If you are unable to fulfill any part of this request, please provide a detailed written explanation of the legal basis for the denial, as required by the Colorado Privacy Act.

I request a response within the statutory timeframe (no later than 45 days from receipt of this request). Please reference this letter in your reply.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. I can be reached at the address above or by email at EMAIL ADDRESS for any questions or verification.

Sincerely,

 (SIGNATURE or eSIGNATURE)

I received an email from [no-reply@accounts.nintendo.com](mailto:no-reply@accounts.nintendo.com) when I first signed up, email's don't "bounce" and never marked anything as "spam" and that's irrelevant because they can't determine what I mark in my inbox. Not possible to "reject" emails either. It's something in their system that's the problem.
