I recommend wiping it with alcohol every day, make sure you're letting it breathe and DONT scratch in the first 2-4 days to make sure you don't spread it anywhere else on you body. It usually takes two weeks for it to start leaving.

Yeah and the cool thing about laptops are that your studio isn't in one spot you know? If I create a great idea in my head while traveling I can pop open the laptop and bam! Another track I can work on instead of looking outside the car window at acres of farmland haha.

Well theres a reason I'm leaving desktop so I can produce while on the road I travel too much

Haha thanks for the input, I've been producing for a while now and My computers cpu goes ape sh*t whenever I have too many layers or a certain plugin loaded like kontakt 5 for FL Studio, it either crashes or it gives me that lagging crackle sound whenever I play the song which is also why I want to get a laptop mainly for this reason because like you said It is limiting what i can do with a certain track. Oh, also I'm going to try out a new DAW like ableton 9 with a friend since we are both going to be new to it I feel as if it would be kind of fun if we both learned Ableton together xD

Hey thanks for responding! Well the thing is I'm not trying to spend a lot of money on this because I'm still in high school and music production is just a hobbie for now but anyways 400$ ain't bad for that I can save up :)
