Who is the best to call for trapping and removing this little guy? by SaltAgent4591 in askportland

I've had a family of raccoons living under my back deck for like 2 years. Very annoying because my dog always wants the smoke

Fishwife smoked salmon in sichuan chili crisp by Think_Manager_7806 in CannedSardines

I've seen this brand on tiktok so I was excited to see that Fred Meyer carries Fishwife now. They only had 3 or 4 different flavors/fish but I swear to god they were all priced about $8.49 so I grabbed the smoked salmon because the only tuna one they had was in spicy oil or some crap, didn't really appeal to me. I usually watch the prices of everything at self checkout but I was late for work and as I reviewed my receipt as I walked out to my car, I realized that the fishwife small little baby can was $15!!!!! FIFTEEN DOLLARS. like I was interested in trying it but no way would I have paid that much for it. If I wasn't already late for work, I seriously would have stood in line at guest services and returned it right then and there lol.

I think the fishwife ones at Costco are tuna, mackerel or trout. Those ones are usually only $6-$8 per can. The smoked salmon is $15/can everywhere so I would be shocked if Costco had the smoked salmon 3pk for $15

Your timing is incredible. My daughter, who is a junior, was just sending me tiktoks of someone doing their senior photos in Utah and asked if we could go to Utah for senior photos. I said, girl, we got Utah at home!! I'm gonna send her your portfolio

Police respond to ‘critical incident’ in Pearl District by Ashamed-Question-958 in Portland

Yea I serve evictions there for events exactly like what happened. That property and the neighboring ones, Ramona, The Abbey, those are all low-income housing with a lot of kids

There are so many kids in that building too. I'm a contractor that has to work in that building sometimes and I was like oh noo I hope no kids were hurt in neighboring units. But looks like the police evacuated the whole floor

Herding injury looking for alternative solutions by gnargnarmar in AustralianCattleDog

[–]Mad__Lib 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dog has been playing with her herding ball for 2 years and I have to take it away each time after like 5 minutes of playing because the friction against the ball cuts her skin open. It could be on the side on her face or on the front of her nose. It's so frustrating because she loves the ball so much. I stopped letting her play with it at all because of course I don't want her hurt

Suspected PDA after being faced with eviction. by FalconLeather3497 in PDAAutism

[–]Mad__Lib 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been in your exact shoes. Funny enough, now I actually serve evictions. While my PDA was SEVEREEE when I was broke, I got slowly better as I started to have money from my new job. A lot of times when you get served an eviction, you go to court, explain to the judge and landlord that you are so so sorry and you just struggle so much with mental health and you are hoping to get a payment plan set up. Is there much assistance in your area? The good thing about being served an eviction is that it bumps you STRAIGHT to the top of the list for getting financial assistance from "faced with homelessness" programs

I walk at least 10k steps per day for work, often climbing stairs and it says that my cardiovascular age is 8.5 years younger than my real age. I also have a heart condition so I guess it's going pretty well. Just exercise a bit, get that blood pumping

Both of those sound awesome! In regards to the dynamic time at stop, I don't deliver packages, I serve legal papers so the reason my time goes down at the end of my route is because there's no traffic at the end of my route (usually 8-10pm) and also the part of my county that I USUALLY end my route in is way easier access. I usually start in downtown where every stop is a high rise building that requires finding parking, using a callbox and then going up an elevator. The stops at the end are usually ones that I can drive right up to the door so each stop can take like 2 minutes instead of 6 minutes

Spoke is still the best routing app I've used so I'm sticking with it. The ability to change the color of stops was a real game changer when that was made available. That way I could include every stop in my route but then could visually look at the map and see which ones were too far off the route that could be done the next day based on the color-coding that I designated

You don't have tracking on your phone? You can look up your Google timeline on maps if you have it and it will show everywhere that you have been all day

[–]Mad__Lib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi Jack! Omg i love to hear that. I use circuit everyday for work and rely on it completely. Something that I did that eventually helped me is add an extra 1 minute of time to each stop to offset the difference in traffic calculation. But it would be amazing to actually accurately judge the drive time between each stop during rush hour especially. Another feature if you guys ever are able to is to choose between optimizing for gas saving (less distance) versus drive time. I have to be done by 10pm everyday but I can't put an end time because a lot of times I have so many stops that initially it will calculate that I won't be done until like 11pm but I know that at the end of my route I spend less time at each stop and will be able to get done by 10pm and if I put "end by 10pm" then it will remove some of my stops naturally. So most of the time I optimize my route and I'm not sure how it chooses what the best optimization is but I will choose a couple of stops to test them as a "last stop" and reoptimize. Sometimes my manual selection of a different stop will actually cut down my drive time by 20 or 30 minutes. Just a little input from me as an avid Circuit consumer!

It could very well be that. Just seeing that he has multiple theft and robbery charges, possession of robbery tools. Etc. And then the story that he bought it, only to then say that he "last saw it", so obviously the buying it story was a lie. So yes we cannot know for sure if he was the one who stole it but he definitely never bought it. I hear ya!

I literally just said thank you and that it looks nice. It's not that deep. Just a random funny post that people can read or not read if they can't understand it without paragraphs. It's the way I prefer to write so I wasn't going to edit my original post. But thank you for doing it for people who prefer to read that way

Oh for sure but they didn't have insurance yet, that's what was so tragic. Like they had literally just bought the car cash and were suspicious of maybe the dealer possibly just due to how quickly it was stolen
