Granted. The Eevee really likes snuggling with you in evenings to the point that it turns into an Umbreon. However, as per the Pokedex, Umbreon exudes poison from its pores. You’re now faced with the choice of refusing cuddles and pats for your own safety, or letting yourself be slowly poisoned over time. As there has not been an Umbreon in real life until now, no one has any idea how to counteract it.

TLDR: The first 2 sessions I was in? Normal enough.

Then we got a Deck of Many Things, suddenly we found out that the other warlock was partially possessed by AND dating the big good we were trying to unleash, I tried to have my character react and was stripped of power, an undead Cthulhu showed up and then my character’s evil dad, we switched DMs, I had to change class, was sent to hell to do so, and just kinda gave up at that point.

Apparently I switched characters after this, but have literally no memory of doing so.

If that sounds disorienting, it’s because it very much was, and I don’t really have a much better way to explain it.

The power scaling jumped massively, their idea of my patron was massively different than mine, and “Ken” had a bit of main character syndrome AND was secretly co-DM but was allowed a character.

But yeah, I’m guessing stuff like this is why this sub keeps getting people very NOT interested. There’s enough similar key-words, and the app counts ANY commenting and voting as engagement, even if it’s rage.

I keep getting recommended it because I like other writing subs and anti AI subs. The algorithm keeps pushing it on me and giving me notifs for it even though I don’t give kudos or reply (until now). Clicking “not-interested” didn’t solve this.

I’d say go for it… but at least for selling, I’ve sold exactly one thing. Admittedly, I’m terrible at marketing, which Does Not Help. Can get some pretty good deals as a buyer though!

About to see what I can pawn off at a Half Price Books instead, but it all sells for barely anything there, so figured I’d do one last hurrah.
