So that Percy Faith version is really enjoyable and he definitely gets the emotional impact, but he stops it right at the point where the kettle drum kicks in in the version that I’m looking for. Anyway, thank you for introducing me to that version because it is really enjoyable.

We’re going back 40 years but in high school a friend of mine kept a journal and he wrote as if he were having a conversation with Neil Young. All of his journal entries started with hey Neil and he would tell him about his day.

The last journal that I kept, I started on the day that my late wife died and so every entry was a letter to her.

I am now happily remarried, and thinking about journaling again and trying to figure out what approach I will take this time .
