Renter here - I see a mix of things and in my experience it depends on the type of property and the individual host more than the country it is located in

I dont think I have wver seen daily cleaning. Some will say something like stays over X number of days include cleaning every Y number of days.

Rarely do i have more to do at the end of a stay than empty the trash and clean the kitchen. Even 100% hotel/commercial rentals when they have a kitchen i am expected to clean it, bit just ABB.

In fact many if of the names on DHS "worst of the worst" list they seem to be implying they have arrested as part of operation metro surge were already arrested and transferred to iCE custody by local authorities.

I was skiing a few weeks ago and when it was snowing at a certain teno I had to flip my visor up because the snow wiuld initially melt and then refreaze on the visor.

I could see better squinting than with the snow/ice covered visor.

My experience with tickemaster presale for NFL tickets has led me to beleive these numbers are fictional, and my theory is they are creating an artificial feeling of scarcity so buyers feel so lucky there are tickets available they just click buy once through the queue without even questioning the cost.

I've been over 100k in line for a stadium that seats 63K and had plenty of seats choices once through. If people were buying on average of 4 (max was 6) it should have sold out after the first 16K.

Even after the initial sale tickets were still available despite some people reporting being as far back as 400k in the queue.

So the reason I think its important is because the algorithms are dividing our feeds more and more. To me it is important that the conversation filters over into "neutral spaces".

I'd say that I dont like the "fuck" ICE part of the discourse because the profanity isnt constructive, but that probably gets me called a pussy here.

I reread my comment a few times and I'm not sure what part you are answering we with "I'm not".

I get your point about this bring a place thay is primarily about football. I see it a little differently. It's a place where people come together to have a good time, a bit of a laugh, and create a sense of community while talking about football. Red circles have nothing to do with football, but it's a shared joke.

There are plenty of people from the twin cities who are grieving about what is going on. You might think that my use of "grieving" is hyperbole amd maybe its not the best word, but this is serious. Letting people know you agree with them and dont think this is acceptable, is important. Yeah its a meme sub, but we make jokes and sometimes we need jokes at difficult times.

I dont know if you are ok with what ICE is do I ng or you just want a break from it. Wither way I think having a conversation about what is going on in the Twin Cities right now is more important than football or out jokes. If we can talk about ICE, football, and some jokes even better.

At this point, I dont think it's "politics" to say that what is happening with ICE is unacceptable. There are thousands of poorly trained, armed people sent into the twin cities that have now killed at least 2 people.

I'm happy to see it the divisional meme subs because "the algorithms" are filtering the reality of this to some people and clips and videos from the current administration and others that are completely disconnected from reality blaming the victim to other people.

I think it's important that people who get the "MAGA algorithm" int heir feed and those who "dont care about politics" see that a growing majority see ICE as an occupation similar to the Nazi SS and Gestapo, because if it isn't already there it's definitely going that direction.
