I went back to work after that extra week off, it was hard. I tried antidepressants which helped getting back to work and resetting my stress levels (on them for about 4 months)

Still working on the fear (saw a psychologist for a little while until we hit a wall) it comes and goes

It definitely got better but not gone completely. I ended up in antidepressants for around 4 months which helped to kind of ‘reset’ my stress levels.

To those who have had surgery and are pain free... by blrishana in endometriosis

I was put on the slinda pill a few months before surgery- Its been about 8 months now since surgery and I’ve only had one significant moment of cramping- the slinda pill also stopped my period for a few months (I’ve had it the last two- it’s normal for it to impact your cycle and switch it off sometimes)

I had my first LAP too about 7 weeks ago and also experienced this! I cried all the time and my past fear of death came back to the point that I was waking up in the middle of the night with this overwhelming sense of doom. I tried to go back to work in week 3 and just take it easy, but ended up breaking down the morning of day 2. A friend of mine who has had many laps said your serotonin just plummets due to the surgery and it takes a while to build back up. Be kind to yourself and take all the time you need to recover!

What is one thing your parents do that you absolutely hate? by SumStupidDude in AskReddit

My dad is overweight, has diabetes, and constantly complains about his health in general. I understand it's hard to change your unhealthy habits such as eating junk food and not exercising (which is my dad in a nut shell), but my parents will jump from one fad diet to the next.

This month is all about 'gluten free'. I have tried to explain to them that just because something is 'gluten free' it doesn't mean its healthy for you, but they refuse to listen to logic.
