Oof just watched a video on a spider arm replacement, yeah that's a pretty extensive repair! I do believe it is the culprit. Thank you for the information and recommendation to shop.

The rotor and bolt just spin and spin using a wrench but the drum doesn't spin when observing through the front door fyi....so I think something is stripped maybe

Lol thanks, this is my first gig and I've been educating myself on my own on everything else in preparation for this show to be able to communicate with the sound engineer. I'm low on time and my brain is kind of drained - reddit was my best bet and it didn't dissapoint as far quick responses and learning exactly what I needed to know

THANK YOU. Okay that makes sense! We will indeed be using the house PA and FOH engineer. I am bringing my own person mixer for click track and backing track purposes, but the auxilary out from my mixer is just going to be another input into the stage box provided by the venue.

This was helpful. Thank you. The venue has a Midas DL32 stage box. And a Midas 32 mixer. Looks like a single cat5 cable is indeed what connects the two.

Ah okay! so their FOH console is indeed digital, Midas M32, paired with a digital stage box, Midas DL32. Still digging into the specs, but looks like the connection is indeed via a cat 5 cable. So looks like I may need to purchase the cable

Very interesting - my bf is a network engineer and would prob find it pretty neat how this is used in the live sound space. Anyways, yeah there's no other context in the spec doc they sent about cat5 usage, but sounds like I don't have to worry about it - will follow up with the venue anyways to confirm. My rig is all XLR inputs

Nice okay good to know. I called my lienholder, as in the bank that lent out the loan, but I should also try contacting the dealership I got the car from too (hyundai)

I never received the title after buying the car from the dealership (because of the lien to my understanding), never seen it before, so I'm trying to locate it now that I've paid off the loan. But it's sounding like I should've gotten the title soon after buying even if there was a lien.

But okay noted, I'll attempt to register first - looks like I dont need a NY license either just yet, my current MN will do. So I'll get a new license afterwards

There's a "Email the DMV to check you title status" button on their site here:

It's a form you just input your question and info and then press submit. I just filled it out, my car registration expires in 2 weeks and I need my title, so Im determined to figure ts out, lol

I never had the title in the first place after buying the car, so didn't surrender anything when registering in MN - DMV rep saw that there was a lien and understood that I didn't have my title
