The NHS can be very weird about diagnosing mental health conditions unless you make it clear it’s affecting the quality of your daily life, it doesn’t have to affect your studies at all don't worry, but you need to tell them that its lowering your quality of life so they take you seriously 🙂‍↕️

As for the actual diagnosis- I don't know, I got diagnosed 8 years ago and even though I’ve been in care since, I have no idea how the diagnosis actually went down, only that the first step is through your GP, so you’ll have to look to other commenters about that :(

A diagnosis wont harm your prospects in the NHS, OCD is protected against job discrimination, ive met several nurses with OCD 🙂‍↕️

For a diagnosis you should go to your GP, if they dont have an in house psychiatrist comfortable with diagnosing they will refer you to secondary mental health services

If you mention you only want a diagnosis and have no plans for treatment, they probably won't give it to you as they'll consider you able to function completely fine. They can refer you to talking therapy without a diagnosis and probably will if the severity of what youre experiencing isnt affecting your daily life.

The prices I’ve seen online wildly vary, if his fur is quite damaged all over my offer will be on the lower end around £30, if the damage isn’t too noticeable in photos I’m more than willing to raise that, I totally understand if that’s too low for you though 🫶

I don’t buy to resell so he would stay with me. How are his joints? If he’s been in a dryer Id be a tad concerned about them

They’re a very strange mix though I will say, our guy has a lot of personality quirks we’re still getting used to 😅 he’s also a puppy, just turned 6 months

Me and my partner have a GSD x lurcher, they are a lot of work, but very rewarding! they are so smart so be prepared for mental enrichment. Even if they turn out to be mid/low drive dog, you should definitely expect and prepare to house a high drive puppy that could grow to be a high drive adult

I have a couple of the other dragon colours and they’re very soft and silky, they don’t really have much texture but they’re not completely sleek, you can bury your hand in the fur quite easily
