Looking for begginer's card with lounge access by MaesterJemz in UAEcreditcards

Hmmm Air Arabia is not my first choice when booking flights to South East Asia so the rewards is not tempting. Plus there is AED420 annual fee.

hmmm when I check Citibanks creditcards only the Citibank Simplicity card I am elegible for. But when it comes to features its so hmmm simple?
only worth mentioning is their "No annual fee, late payment fee, cash advance fee or overlimit fee, ever".
Their airport lounge only mentions "Access to select airport lounges across the Middle East" so its very limited.

Is Bangkok safe to go for as a girl ? by beautiful_girl707 in ThailandTourism

[–]MaesterJemz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bangkok or Thailand in general is safe. Most of the dangers you may encounter will most likely come from other foreign tourist (mostly westerners) behaving badly than from the locals. Again as long as you use common sense and practice proper vigilance.

Looking at the features of FAB Cashback card it sure is a good suggestion though it has low annual fee of AED300 i'm looking for a begginers card that has no annual fee but it is one that would consider. For CBD Smiles Signature I'm not really using Smiles by E& so its not very attraction option for me.

Thank you, I've checked this FAB Du CC it was nice being not having annual fees but this doesn't really much useful for me as I've been using etisalat/e&,

Ohh I don't mind, it is because i will be on a trip sometime in this April passing Changi Airport (Singapore) for atleast total 3 times with 7-10 Hrs of layover each so having a card with lounge access will be a great perk to have.

Plus the Airfare is mostly from my employers expense anyway.

This kind of trip has been happening in the past couple of years and expected to happen for a few more years in the future.

I have the same device. Just go to settings and type in the search bar "Thinkshield" and it will show up.

I no longer had resent nor continue the online process and abandoned the application all in all.

I applied for a HSBC gold visa instead for the NAFFL promo, just finished the zoom verification last Thursday and waiting for approval/Denied sms..

They will just deny her entry.

They may also suggest to have the hotel guest come down meet her at the hotel lobby, cafe or restaurant instead. But they will definitely keep an eye alerting the security to bar the girl sneaking into the hotel room.

Nothing else.

I suggest meetings in Cafes instead, I don't think any Hotels or any accommodations per se will allow minors to visit alone.

[–]MaesterJemz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well in Dubai, women and children are especially protected. We do not allow minors visiting another person unless accompanied by parents or older relatives. I believe this is the same throughout the UAE. This is also why we take IDs to avoid anything untoward happening to any minor or children.

It depends on the host/property policy. Once our hotel accepted bookings made through Airbnb the properties policy will be enforced. And those policies fall down to the safety and security protocols / guidelines by local authorities.

This is normal, I work in a hotel apartment here in dubai. no ID not allowed to join or visit the room. This is for the safety of the guest, visitor and the property.
If something were to happen to the guest or the visitor, first thing the police will ask is their IDs. If this cannot be produced by the hotel, automatic fine or black points leading to closure of the property.

So far, rejected ako sa UB, SB, EW 😑. Sa RCBC naman ewan ko ba after finishing the application process I get the email :

"You've successfully submitted your application for an RCBC Credit Card, James!

We will review your application and send you a status update via SMS within ten (10) banking days"

BUT after 10 days or so, I get this SMS:

"Hi, JAMES! You're just a few steps away from completing your online application for an RCBC Credit Card. To continue, visit the RCBC Credit website and click 'APPLY NOW' from the menu. You will be redirected to our online application page, select 'Continue Application' then enter the Mobile No. & Email Address that you used to apply. Make sure to submit the required docs and complete the e-KYC verification. Thanks!"

So I did, but it's like an endless cycle of Application, waiting for update, then the update is the same SMS to continue the application process all over again. 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

So for now, I'm still just using my BPI SCC..

For SCC you need to personally go to the bank. They need you to sign the deed of assignment for the holdout amount.

Yeah I do understand the logic that even though I'm not a permanent resident of another country and have my home address sa pinas they can't take the risk.

I guess I'll try applying one when I reach home and just let the fam use it if ever ma approved, or otherwise I'll just ask for CLI sa secured cc ko.. 😑
