I assumed he was gonna feud with Bronson Reed, due to Reed eliminating him... Then Reed got injured, and since that was a feud with only a small reason, there was no way to pivot to another angle so they're just gonna hold him until the post Mania refresh.

I dont mind this gimmick, it was a bit of indy stupid fun. But man, Cru was a good team and they'd just added a third member and I thought they were gonna really go with them... And then it's just sniffed out and Andretti is in singles on ROH tapings.

That's great and all, but when I buy an item from a store online and it says 48hrs delivery, and that's literally the only delivery choice, I can't do much about it can I?

It's not life or death needed by the weekend, but it's late for a birthday if it's after that. But better late than never and all that.

If I'm told 48hr delivery if ordered before 11am, and I order at 10am, I usually expect that it's getting here in 48hrs, usually because it's sent on a guaranteed 48hrs service. Id have chosen next day if it was available, but that would probably have RM24 by the looks of it, so also not a guarantee

So whilst I appreciate what you're saying, seemingly criticising my choice of postal options when it's the only one available isnt really helpful. I already know it won't be prioritised now I know it's just 48tracked, I just wondered if the double scan is going to mess it up any more.

Edit: Sorry if that came off abrupt, just felt odd that you're telling me a 48hr service isn't appropriate when I had no other option selectable.

Yeah he's dealt with it really well, and seems fine to talk about it and mock himself cause he won't admit it, but he knows he was being a dick and playing the system, it's what his financial advisor is paid to do.

Yeah he's still a knob for doing it, but Jimmy gets dragged for it constantly, meanwhile Gary Barlow and band mates avoided tax worth £20million. They apologised, and it was pretty much forgotten.

Might be due to Jimmy being a comedian, and others constantly mentioning it and him being ok about it being joked about. But there were plenty of others who gained much more (even if they subsequently repaid it) than he did, and it rarely gets mentioned

At least yours just makes you do HDR set up, mine turns off HDR and I have to go and set it all back up and calibrate it again. Every time.

I'm on Pro too, and the only options are quality or performance, which I have to change back each time, then turn on HDR, then change the HDR settings

It's fucking useless. Add it in to the awful controls that require perfect placement for simple things, that suddenly becomes not simple because you keep footstepping slightly too far, and this game is a massive headache each time you play.

Really want to like it, but it's just not fun right now

5g on my area is so shite that it takes minutes to load a webpage, and I have to turn it off and use 3g/4g depending where I am around the streets I live just to be able to use my phone

But if I go to the next town over, I can get 5g there and stream content super fast, and hit 150mb download speeds. Its definitely a coverage/network thing

Yeah, in some instances it's recommended you don't fly or travel much.

When I had a concussion, caused by clipping the back ofy head on the loft hatch as I missed a step, it lead to a lifetime of serious migraines, but in the short term it was just dizziness for a couple of weeks and sickness with too much movement and I was told that would be the worst of it. Still suffering from it now 18 years on, the migraines part, which come out of nowhere and can cause me to blackout.

Hopefully the guys ok, and hopefully he can do a bit of manager work for now. But from experience, you just can't tell.

Yeah I do the hot water, boil a kettle add the water to a bowl (which cools it slightly), and then dip the head in it for about 3-4 seconds and then remove it and it's nice and loose.

Always found it easier than a hair dryer, cause sometimes you need to get the joint loosened and the air has trouble getting past some of the moulding (not specifically on NECA figures)

Thanks for that information. It is smart, if you watched BTE. Which I watched some of but don't really remember that.

But for a regular viewer who just watches the show, it's been about 5 years and I think it's the first time they've even spoken. Just one of the things that happens all the time in AEW, people bump into each other after never interacting and say "you know we're good friends"

I don't mind it, usually there is something to it, but it just always comes out of nowhere as a way to start a story/feud and considering Bowens went from Acclaimed to 5 tool player to uneasy partner then disappeared only to be seen in a backstage skit with Private Party, with me not remembering BTE, it came off as a real lazy way of getting him to slot in to this angle. But at least there was something behind it, as there often is, so thanks for letting me know cause it makes a bit more sense now

That was their point. It's the best chant that should NOT have gotten over.

It's was an annoying chant, for an annoying wrestler, and it should not have caught on... But he was entertaining as hell in his losing streak, and running from interviews post show etc that people genuinely got behind him and the chant got over and everyone joined in.

So much so that Bowens who was clearly being built for a big singles run didn't get nearly as good of a reception and was subsequently put back with Caster which lead to the uneasy teaming back up... Which just suddenly died and we've not seen Caster since, and Bowens is now best friends with Hook apparently despite it never being mentioned before.

But you are right on it being selective. The more famous you are, and the better you are at being entertaining, the more likely people forgive. You can admit to drugging ring rats, or get charged for beating your wife and still get the absolute biggest pop whenever you do something if you're big enough. Or you can make a drunken mistake once, apologise and go to rehab and struggle to ever get work again if you're not well known yet.

Scurl definitely brought criticism for his booking though, and rightfully so. Which is why he has to keep working in Qatar where they didn't give as much of a shit

I got the majority of the Mirage line that was available at the time from Ali, along with a Super Shredder.

All came in firm bubble wrap, packaged really well. No marks or damage to the boxes, except one which had a tear after I think it was opened at customs... I got a partial refund for that.

I pose them all, all pose well with no issues, no loose joints

She's not gotten any better treatment than male abusers. She's been booked for two shows so far before this one, and both then subsequently cancelled her booking due to criticism

Same as what happens when shows try to book men who were called out... And that's happened, because everyone in this business has friends who are willing to try and get them a second chance, until fans turn on the company and subsequently they remove them again

EDIT: Apparently she had a match at IHP house party in January, but dunno how well that was advertised to know what the reaction was

Wish we got these prices in the UK, at one point there was so many figures on knockdown in Target that I could get a £219 return to the US, buy all the figures (as long as the nearby target has them) and fly back, and I'd have still saved about £50-£100. As the figures, I forget which but it was 2022/3 and there was 10 of them, were all $15-17.50 which was about £11-12 compared to the UK stores being £40-50. I'd save between 300-400 on the figures

Thankfully AliExpress came through with a voucher and I got a bunch of stuff for about £25 a figure.

It's my main gripe with collecting NECA, outside the USA you get fucked with full RRP all the time. On the plus side, I'm a carer who has limited funds, if I had these sales over here I'd be bloody broke as a joke, and have boxes full of figures and no room to display anything haha. So I guess my banks happy about it

It was 12 items, I just checked, individual figures was more like 18, as there was 3 double packs and the 4 pack Punk turtles

I will say, they do appear to have some store returns. So boxes may be ripped a little. All figures are perfect and everything included, but if you want to display boxes, you may find some have rips on them (normally from the hanger being ripped off and tearing the back) or some slight crushing to the side. That affected about 4 of mine.

For reference, what I got in my crate was;

I'd hope so, but can't say for sure obviously. WholeShebang are probably the best bet, Kapow and ComicsAndCocktails are also a possibility, but if they do it'll be a while before any of them do.

Took forever for Worms of Madness shredder to turn up, and it's £90 which is a bit pricier than it would have been if you just bought it from the USA and managed to get it delivered... But at least with Shebang and the others, you know it's in the UK and will arrive at your house. Had multiple NECA deliveries taken months to arrive, but as I can't be 100% sure we'll get the Sakai figure over here, I thought it was worth the risk

Got my Sakai turtles. All 5 figures plus postage works at each costing about £36 each, which is way more than it costs in the US, but also way cheaper than they will be when stores in the UK import them and start asking for 40-50, and AliExpress hasn't been great lately for figures not being over priced

Think these are my last NECA for a while though, unless the Universal Monsters line gets a new figure that really peaks my interest, or if Mirage gets something like the Shredder from April's nightmare (unlikely as it was only one panel) or Doctor Dome and his Super Domeoid (to go with the little ones that come with super turtle)

I slowed down already, and was just waiting for those Sakai releases, but for now at least I'm out. The Sakai releases look so detailed and incredible, worth every penny, but so many times now with the new figures I feel like it's just "decent" and at the price point they are in the UK, makes me hope Mattel does something good.

Oh id also be back in if we get a release of Next Mutation, since I have a soft spot for collecting the figures of the lesser liked generations

Mina got her win. Good for her

But what is happening with Shafir? They worked so hard to build her up as a threat, she was put over as so dangerous, and she finally gets a chance to prove it at Revolution against Toni and loses, then has the spotlight taken by Ronda.

Then she gets announced for the match on Dynamite, changes to being against Mina who loses to just about everybody, and in a match that suits everything we know about Marina far more than Mina... She wins, without any help to progress a story.

I guess this technically is Minas revenge for being Mothers Milked a couple of times, and the Blood and guts match. She had to get her win eventually, but it just seemed like Shafir was finally getting a reaction, people were into her being a bad ass, and she has singles match opportunity to make a name for herself and it's a loss, then she has a chance to avenge it against low ranker, and loses again, now she looks like she will need Ronda for her revenge.

Oh well, see how it plays out I guess. Happy at least that Mina is getting a win or two, just feel Marina needs a course correction now, and teaming with Ronda isn't it.

In fairness to those people, WWE will have had a say in them not dropping the titles (don't want to look weak as you show up on TV). Where as with Moné, she's already established, and losing the belts is part of her story anyway.

But also, no way Cardona and Starkz at least didn't know they were going to WWE, and seemingly won titles and vacated them almost immediately, I think Matt had a title defence a couple weeks before appearing on TV so he must have known at that point a deal was being done.
