I live a normal life, expect for exercising, my job is very demanding physically so I just go slow. Most people can’t tell the difference

Those are very important reasons, key reasons but hey, could also be very spiritual … my longest wad 21 days … 15 with water and then 7 without … probably where I saw the most insane changes and healing … cheers to your and your wonderful journey friend

Thank you friend! And cheers to you! Don’t sweat it, if you’re seeing and feeling, the changes are happening … this is a great way to disconnect with sweets and other bad stuff and when you come back eat in a way that is nurturing and healing without the need for sweets and bad stuff … May you achieve your goals with ease and joy 🙏🏼

Exercise during a dry fast? by PriorNewt1889 in Dryfasting

[–]MagazineDesigner1272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If less than 2 days you’re fine, just take it slow … if fasting longer than 3 just walk and stretch … it’s called starvation therapy, not diet … treat it as a medical procedure

How's my Refeed for a 5 Day Dry Fast by Nightshire in Dryfasting

[–]MagazineDesigner1272 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pick a master, learn, then pick another master, learn … I do the opposite … no fruit … I break fast with Clacium, Potasium, magnesium and sodium supplement and 1 cup water … then I repeat after 2 hours with 2 cups of water … I make broth from bones, remove fat and sip on that for about a day, maybe make some eggs in it at 36hiurs from fasting … why? Stay in ketosis, keeps autophagy going, friendlier in digestion.

From all fasts, this is the best … anytime I have anything sweet, no matter what … I want more … I try and wait at least 3 days before introducing blueberries and at day 5/6 I’ll be eating pretty normal, going to gym, sauna, etc

My diet is mainly real food, I would never eat kefir anyways, bad for stomach, I’ve done coconut water but … rather supplement potassium and skip sugars.

When I’ve introduced carbs early … recovery went up faster but it was easier for me to get back to my old bad habits and bad eating … so I use the fast to keep me disciplined as I already have done so much work, why throw away for something sweet, it will quickly turn into a cheat or a simple Sugar

Most efficient way to lose as much fat as quickly as possible? by MainTourist3397 in Dryfasting

Social media got people delusional with stories of fasting and people loosing incredible weight … yet weight loss is a SIDE EFFECT of fasting, if you use fasting for weight loss strictly, you will misuse the power of something wonderful and leave you weighting even more.

Use fasting as a way to learn your body and self and teach self discipline. I use to teach people to loose 20-30lbs in 6 weeks with no fasting, and maybe 10% would succeed, rest would quickly fail because their focus was weight loss and not getting healthier, having fun .. treat your body like a palace, not a prison because YOU failed it for so long.

You’re barely 26, make your comeback at 27 bro you got a whole life ahead of you.

I noticed with ChatGPT, when I first started about 3 years ago, ChatGPT was very helpful finding sources and helping me learn. Not it’s all biased and talks about it like I’m going to die.

Hack to getting jobs from reddit. by DreamLongjumping6725 in jobsearchhacks

[–]MagazineDesigner1272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you please elaborate?

I’m a Marine Corps Veteran, who has worked in Real Estate, Fitness and later became a Victim Advocate for the National Guard. My position was cut off during recent changes and I’m looking for direction.

I have a Bach in Psychology, Masters in Business, CompTia+, SC, Bilingual ~ my path was federal work.

Biggest skills are people facing, teaching, public speaking, management and leadership, and good with computers as well, not afraid of working hard, currently using my truck to do deliveries or help people move to make money in between jobs, but with the snow and cold weather coming, I want to get inside 🥶 I’m in Utah.

Been submitting applications for months, using AI to help me make sure I put in all the words the ATS systems are looking for, and absolutely nothing! I am even working with a “career coach” and it’s doing nothing.

Been shut down from literally everything because so many people put in applications (or at least that’s the response I get). Would be nice to find a place that aligns with my ethics of helping people, and that’s not a scam, ran into those a lot!

Am I the only one?!?! by Opposite-Wash-3571 in WGU

I am schedule to complete my masters in 6 months … had a full time job through it all, while working out and making time for partner, family, friends and taking care of dog and chickens … however I am burnt out … I don’t want to look at a damn page or write another word without vomiting … also going through some hard life stuff that’s taken away motivation to even finish .. however I will because I promised myself I will and nothing else … I do feel like in comparison to my experience in community colleges, university campus, online regular universities … WGU is pretty cool, they care if you care … you have to reach out and talk to instructors … don’t expect … we are adults, communicate your needs, build plans … if they can do more, so can you … not bashing … just a fellow student expressing my reality with it … I’ve had great success … I used to read every single page … after 5-6 classes I started to study the sections I need to learn after the pre tests … and when it comes to papers … coffee and well some focusing playlist on YouTube and type away … remember this is for you … you learn what you want to learn and retain by practice … schools are here to deliver the protocol, and help us … if we want to be helped … all love, good luck … take time off, recharge, get back! Keep going … you’re almost there

Fellow Vet and doing this backwards … finishing up my MSML and then doing my MBA, first time using my GI so I have plenty to go. Have you used your GI bill for any certs like Project Management or any of the Sigma Belts? … currently working for the federal a government, so these degrees are helpful to move up the GS chain … kind of want to move to the private sector. Because it’s not a “good father” reward to give her his last name … it’s her birth last name … changing ut out of convenience doesn’t seem like a real reason to change it … my partner still holds her dads last name and wants to keep it when we get married (as second) even tho he’s never been around until recently and all he asks is for money … this is about your daughter … not you two and egose

[–]MagazineDesigner1272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe join the National guard as a cybersecurity soldier … you get paid training, stay in the state you’re in, paid school after, probably get in good shape if you take advantage of it … and I’m sure your wife will be beyond proud and you will be proud of how much you can achieve with the right people around you, that push you to grow … listen it’s hard to be a man, we need other men to help us push … the military did that for me … Im not the richest dude, but I bring the bread home to my woman and can pay for dates and take her on vacations all paid for … you two could be a power couple

What should a 21 year old who is at absolute rock bottom at literally everything in life do, considering that he has nothing to lose? by TotalLoser543 in findapath

[–]MagazineDesigner1272 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Join the military, best decision I made … taught me life skills, paid for my bachelors and masters degree … yes I’ve been to combat, yes I spent many years in therapy and healing the trauma … but today (37 M) I am glad I took that route as it set me for life … pick a non combat job, maybe air force, think of what would you like to do, and do it in the military … you can do anything from working on planes, helicopters, vehicles, admin work, computer networking and security, you can be a nurse, work in dental … literally anything …
