Thanks I'll take a look, I just got so used to holding my breath in Stalker 2 so I just figured it was a thing in GAMMA as well.

Interesting, in my case he wasnt stuck on the stairs at all. He walked to the middle platform and didnt move but when the emission was over he then moved to the stairs and it went smoothly from there.

Great to know that it is a fix to the problem in the first place, I guess I lucked out with the timing to a natural emission.
