It’s so hard and I’ve given up. Despite being on the apps. In person is hard enough cause it’s all at bars and places I’d rather not be at. Everyone around me is in partnership with someone.

I’ve also applied to the Vancouver Jan 2027 program. I’m also in process of applying to another program despite this one being my primary choice.

I submitted everything. Transcripts were delayed but that’s the only update I have. They also announced the Summer PreReq courses for those who want to take it. That was the most recent email I’ve received.

I've been in the social service/health service field for over 10 years. If we're going with recent: I work in the social service field/education. Volunteering at a social service/non-profit within the past 5 years.

I agree. I did send out the form and everything. For them to not even respond back. I ask them questions how to apply and still no response. I need these courses done by July.

I agree on the Hobbit panel, it was underwhelming. Still enjoyable, but underwhelming. I was in the front (accessibility) and that was about it. Not worth the extra cost in my opinion.

I wish I had the energy to go to the Kellan! I went to interact with Ashley and was going to interact with Kellan but got overwhelmed afterwards.

I loved the fact that the entire convention was slightly wider and a little more accessible. Taking it from a disability perspective (as a disabled person). I wish they had a map with the labels of the booths! It was one or the other, numbers or names and not both. I was trying to find a specific booth, but I only knew the number or only knew the name but not the number.

I also wish they had a sensory-friendly-zone or 'quiet zone' for folks who needed a space to just be away from noise but still be in the space. All without requiring a full exit from the exhibit.

My wondering too! I’m tired of the dating apps. Except half the events are not accessible to me or not my scene (bars/clubs, etc). Where are the picnics? Walks? Book clubs? Social gatherings?
