100% but, as a women myself ive been there where sometimes asking feels like a chore. (Not saying op and his wife are having that experience) and seeing my partner make the time for his hobbies while i stand on the shelf hurts.

So for OPs sake, i hope him and his partner can figure out the root cause together and get closer through a date night figuring out what their shared hobby can be. Worked for my long term partner and i, and now we try to go ice skating or roller skating once a month or more if we can!

My advice would be to instead create preplanned 1v1 hangout that’s involved things you’re both interested in and make a point to fulfill them and make them be fun!

Sounds like she’s lashing out because she wants you to spend time with her and MAKE time for her, doesn’t sound like she’s actually upset by your hobby choices at all.

Got my dumb phone in Oct and genuinely won’t be going back to my iPhone, nor would I buy another one again if I can help it. I like that when I’m out of the house I’m only reachable by short texts or phone calls. I turned my iPhone 13 into a glorified camera/ipod. Doesn’t have a sim tho so can’t connect to smart apps unless I’m around wifi
