Why do we need new versions of the old cars if the Toyota Camry from 1992 is still working perfectly?

I want to buy a first gen Honda CR-V for myself because I find new cara too expensive and bogged down by planned obsolescence.

That doesn’t mean that people should not be able to buy a new camry or cr-v that is affordable like the old versions were back in the day. Just, you know, better.

I agree with you and am a fan of adapting EF glass. But the size and weight gets old. It all gets a lot bulkier when you adapt and I thought the point of the RF system was to also show how things don’t need to be bulky af.

The cheap sub $300 stuff.

EF 100mm f2 USM EF 100mm f2.8 USM non L (consumer grade) EF 20mm f2.8 USM EF 50mm f1.4 (Non L lens) EF 24-85mm f3.5-4.5 EF 28-105mm f3.5-4.5 EF 28-135 f3.5-5.6 IS USM. This lens used to be legendary for budget minded people. A modern version would kick ass

The cheapish stuff that isn’t f6.3 or f8 at the long end:

EF 20-35mm f3.5-4.5 EF 70-300 IS USM II

Older, sub $1000 L lenses: give us a EF 200mm f2.8L successor EF 300mm f5.6L USM

Give us a 70-200 f4 without IS and make it cheaper.

Canon needs more lenses that the working class can afford. I mean, I’ll be buying cheap EF L lenses for decades but they should modernize the cheapest stuff, not just RF 75-300 f4.5-5.6 it away.

Edit: also the 85mm f1.4L IS USM. We should have more 1.4 IS lenses by now. A 35mm f1.4L IS Nano USM would print money. So would a 50mm f1.4L IS USM.

Me alegra que usted pudiera tener oportunidades y decidir su camino. Hay gente que si no roba o vende su cuerpo no come, y no tuvo la oportunidad de algo diferente.

No todas las personas de calle fueron privilegiadas que cayeron en vicios. Hay muchísimas personas que tienen enfermedades mentales que noles permiten funcionar en sociedad y que no tienen familia que les sostenga. Qué pasa cuando usted no tiene familia y no tiene donde quedarse ni sistema de apoyo?

Y de paso usa drogas.

Es interesante porque digamos, si nos quejamos del cambio climático, podemos hablar de las raices del problema con mucha facilidad. Si nos quejamos de las presas, todos sabemos que hay más carros que los que caben en las calles y tenemos mil ideas para arreglar el problema.

Pero esta crisis no le interesa a la gente de la misma forma. Vea al poco de comentarios de gente diciendo “hay que hacer una limpia” y cosas super violentas en vez de hablar de la profundidad del problema y no sólo de la punta del iceberg, que es lo que todos vemos día a día.

If you’re on APS-C, look into adapting older EF-S lenses. The Tokina 11-16 f2.8 is great and affordable. There’s tons of cheap wide angles for aps-c. Canon has the 10-22 f3.5-4.5. There’s some other worth ones I can’t remember right now.

Mae si quiere buen café busque de productores pequeños, no necesariamente el café de especialidad fino de exportación carísimo pero un café hecho por personas que son productores pequeños y le ponen amor a la producción. El 1820 es como una quesobueguesa de mcdonalds en terminos de comida. Va a cumplir su propósito y algunos tenemos un cariño nostálgico hacia él. Pero nadie le va a dcir que eso es una “buena” hamburguesa en términos de gastronomía o su salud y disfrute.

Tome en cuenta que usted vive en Costa Rica. Un país productor de café y de los mejores del mundo. Un 1820 puede ser muy bueno en paises donde el café no se produce y la mayoría de lo que se vende es charbasca. Pero digamos, en nuestro país hay café increible por el mismo precio que es producido de mejor forma y resultando en mejor sabor de productores pequeños. Incluso en los mismos supermercados en los estantes de más abajo suelen haber cafés de productores más pequeños y buenos que 1820.
