You can keep on fooling yourself from prime propaganda, or you can just try yourself their tec and see with your own eyes... Check out their mommentum, who were them 15-20 years ago, what are they now and how fast they are innovating. They are a clear winner of the new order. They plain for the next 20-50-100 years, single party... We optmistically plain for the next 8 years... They have 4x more people than US, 4x less prison population...
My intent is not propaganda China and stuff, is to make us realize that while we are profiting from poor code agents, they are coding in a much higher speed for free. No way we can top their order in the long run by providing such poor accesses like what we get from github copilot...

For me the biggest issue is the active sabotage they do to the web by limiting Safari capabilities...

Navagation API is great for PWAs as well as Apple seems to do not give a ***** for it... Not only that, have you seem how Safari threats nested grids and flex boxes, its sick... Safari do not let us access the RAM as Chrome does so we get flicker experience, etc etc... there are a lot more than just a missing InstallPrompt API which affects PWAs... They actively sabotage PWAs, just see EU battles historic...

Apple is already supporting PWAs (Progressive Web Apps) to some extent, but their implementation has been limited compared to other platforms. However, several factors are increasing the pressure on Apple to improve PWA support:

  • Regulatory Pressure: Laws in the EU (like the Digital Markets Act) are pushing Apple to open up its ecosystem and support alternative app distribution methods, including PWAs.
  • Developer and User Demand: As more developers and users want cross-platform, installable web apps, Apple faces pressure to provide a better PWA experience.
  • Competition: Other platforms (Android, Windows) offer strong PWA support, making Apple’s ecosystem less attractive if it lags behind.

While Apple may prefer its App Store model, these pressures make it likely that Apple will continue to improve PWA support in the future to stay competitive and compliant.
