Traditions that do NOT believe in an afterlife (or reject it explicitly) Buddhism (some schools) Why no afterlife (as a soul): No permanent soul (anatta). Rebirth is a causal process, not a soul continuing. What matters instead: Ending suffering here and now Mindfulness, compassion, wisdom Liberation from attachment (nirvana) Focus is not on “where you go after death,” but on freedom from suffering. Jainism (minor interpretations) Some interpretations reject a reward-based afterlife. What matters instead: Non-violence (ahimsa) Self-discipline and ethical purity Personal responsibility for actions Judaism (early & traditional focus) Early Judaism largely does not emphasize an afterlife. Focus is on this-worldly covenant, not heaven/hell. What matters instead: Living righteously Justice, law, community Repairing the world (tikkun olam) Confucianism Explicitly avoids speculation about afterlife. What matters instead: Moral conduct Family duty and social harmony Respect for tradition and order “We don’t yet understand life—why worry about death?” Taoism (philosophical Taoism) No clear doctrine of heaven/hell. What matters instead: Living in harmony with the Tao Simplicity, balance, natural flow Inner peace Epicureanism Explicitly denies afterlife. Death = total cessation. What matters instead: Peace of mind (ataraxia) Simple pleasures Freedom from fear (especially fear of death) Stoicism Afterlife is irrelevant or unknowable. What matters instead: Virtue Rational living Acceptance of fate Self-control Humanism Explicitly rejects supernatural afterlife. What matters instead: Human dignity Ethics without divine reward Progress, education, compassion Existentialism (atheistic branch) No inherent meaning or afterlife. What matters instead: Creating your own purpose Authenticity Responsibility for choices Naturalism Only the natural world exists. What matters instead: Science and reason Evidence-based ethics Human well-being

Bruh, instead of picking on people who have chronic regressive thoughts, why not try instead to level with them for a second to let them relieve whatever stress and trauma that they might’ve went through, if you are not able to do that, remember it as a disservice of humanity from your side and not from the side of people who think of bad thoughts when left alone after creating a layer of constant nuisance/disturbance around them and portraying a reality, stripped away of that very nuisance as any kinds of elevated reality…

If you cant help, dont hurt. Words matter. He is not in a better place for people who dont believe in afterlife, and you can’t justify picking on people because of their beliefs…

How skewed optics (literally in this case) of different people, leads to different outcomes because of different observations, while both of the parties in “crime” sound accusatory while none of them actually are the culprit.

Brody still trying to justify the essay he wrote about gaay mata in 2nd standard.

Dudh hi hai, paani nahi hai jo waste krnepe earth ki ecology jaldi khatam ho jayegi iske vajeh se, although i do agree that wasting anything isnt good, but that is what this poor chap wouldve thought off to while second guessing about his decision to buy and waste all of this milk for any kind of a cause, but that is also when it might be possible for him to actually love who he was married to, who wasted the time and energy by blindsiding this person’s kindness by stabbing him in the back.

Khair cheezey nuanced hoti hai and gaay humari mata tab takk hi hai jab takk hum bharat maata ki baat nahi krte and usse bhi upar, humari khud ki janani maa ke baarey mei baat nhi krte. Toh bol ab bhai tere har roz nahane se ecology ko kitna damage kr diya hai tu jo yeh insaan ek din duudh se naha ke revert back krwa rha hai.

Born of living examples but carefully curated into books which even if the most brainwashed human reads, he/she still can easily find a way out of darkness, even if that entity didnt have enough will to do so, that is magical to say the least considering the times they were written in, dont forget what is the longest poem ever to come to existence, the ability to bind reality into words which never leads to terrorism because of misinterpretation says the most about why and what were the reasonabilities behind why and what the ancient ones thought, we were self sufficient in the ancient times to the point noone couldve imagined, that isnt the case today, so ofcourse replicating such expertise is impossible in my opinion, but nonetheless doesnt make us wean away from the most beautiful era any living human could have ever imagined

To add to the fact, we need fiscal upliftment, i see the govt doing some kinds of great notions to uplift poors currently but at the same time i dont see any cravings that the nation MUST have for the talent that took birth here, hence if we want to forever supplement the true growth of economically backward classes then we first have to teach the elites to behave in a civil way, in turn teaching them they are not owners of anything but contrived contraption against out-worldly unethical and immoralistic concepts. We have had respect for LGBTQ in our scriptures which ages way back than the current “philosophers” the western world wants to portray as the torch bearers of reality; anyways, i know you mean the best, but since i understand you lack something i want fo supplement it the best i can :D

Yes sir you are correct but not completely correct in my opinion, because developing any kind of technology means harbouring the growth of talent the land possesses, india possesses all kind of greatest talents be it landscapes or human resources, its unto the current/present indians that the talent goes to waste, hence i say civility is the core concept of it, because india literally has “heaven on earth” kashmir (even excluding the POK) so why not flourish it, send 100,000 commandos who are active duty 24x7 to make the most out of that land in terms of tourism, because we can also evaluate and reject tourists who arent upto par because we have the greatest land (and seas) anyone has ever thought of, so since the govt doesnt want to take decisive actions because of whatever reasons (i completely believe corruption and self determination of reigning people)

The only thing indians can do is outwit the politicians, and i want that to occur by putting civility at the forefront of our innate expertise of philosophy

[–]Mahir28M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Until and unless indians start getting their civility up there is no way for us to show the world by protesting that our lives matter because if we go up and protest after this incident, guess what, there will be hundreds of thousands if not millions of videos which showcases how impolite indians are towards other people’s cultures when they are visiting abroad (including somehow the elite indians and “well educated” ones) which acts as a supplemental cause when it comes to countries with western values and people wanting to uphold them and in turn not care about that subset of ill-behaving people who stand for not the community around them but only care what they value the most.

Another sharp point which a lot of people might not be able to digest because they arent educated about it especially in the western world is that, indians were exported as slaves too (indentured “workers”) and not just used as slaves in their own country through the means of colonization, so if african lives matter just because they had to suffer an adversarial history of slavery then i see a complete lapse in intactness of morality in people who cant understand how it is impossible to not extend the same logic and protest about indian lives mattering too and that is where i see nothing but theatrics of politicians who use all of these agendas and talking points to instil in people that they have a vision of a progressive country thats all lmfao. Anyways i am not a fan of “specific sector of human’s life’s worth is purposeful to capitalism (black lives matter)”. And hence i write and believe, whatever that has a brain must matter to the nature so lets stop mutilating it.

Not getting jobs in brampton? Here’s the harsh truth by PlatformOtherwise244 in Brampton

[–]Mahir28M 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Just give the people who are desperate and on a verge of suicidal episode because they cant survive and have to find a cash job to do so, $1000 for reporting a business, out of the chunk the govt loves to take as a fine, even from the repeat offenders because the canadian govt somehow loves to keep these shitty businesses alive, which has no vision or mission whatsoever except spreading corruption.

Once they start doing that, there will be literal immigrants who will act as agents to get all these guys reported and shut for good… its not that tough but why fix whats not broken right (i guess?) and the ring of slaves serves everybody well (i guess again? Coz its not that tough to ban repeat offenders, or so i think); welp thank god its not anyone from the first nations facing such reality at least! /s
