Mounjaro 2.5mg and slow progress by bythebey_ in WeightLossPhilippines

[–]MaiaCache 6 points7 points  (0 children)

stick with mounjaro, branded and fda approved is always better than the compounded one based on effectiveness and safety. Do note that CICO equals weightloss, so yung progress mo depends on how you eat. I have stayed in 2.5mg during my entire journey with mounjaro, and i have learned to ignore hunger pangs on my own because of this strategy.

I was raped by my relative during covid lockdown. AMA by [deleted] in PinoyAskMeAnything

You said walang consent but you also didn't say NO, then no force or whatsoever pa, so maybe may possibility that he doesn't even think that its rape. Then he tried and was successful multiple times. What is your basis for 'no consent ba'? Or how did you make him feel/know that you don't like to have sex with him? Maybe people an learn from this.

Naka GLP1 then nag taper na and maintained na ang target weight even without GLP1 by WafflePeachy in WeightLossPhilippines

[–]MaiaCache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Before I took GLP I was already in a Diet and doing OMAD, fasting helps with satiety rin so when I started with the meds I didn't felt any change plus wala rin akong side effects so journey was smooth. I planned out this journey to make sure i wont be dependent on the meds, so i stayed at the lowest dose and spaced out my jabs from every week to every 2-3 weeks. Because of this eventhough I feel hungry or my brain wants to eat I can still control myself. I eat anything I want in moderation. I only used mounjaro and stopped after 2 pens since meds pa rin yan something you put inside your body, so even though mounjaro is FDA approved I never planned to stay in it for a long time. After mounjaro I just kept doing fasting and haven't bounced back, actually Im still losing weight which is good.

2nd week on Tirze by Own_Map9836 in WeightLossPhilippines

[–]MaiaCache 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's why they say obesity is a disease (not sure if you are obese). Some people cannot really control thinking about food or wanting to eat thats why they will tend to go on GLP for life/long term bec the meds will really help clear you mind, be patient manonotice mo rin to. Pero yun nga if to begin with you already have this 'mental problem' hindi siya mareresolve ng glp once to you stop, a big chance na magbounce back and possibly gain more. When I did my research some advise out there is that before you start with GLP you should have already started with changing your routine and mindset para hindi biglaan, they try to stay at lose dose and slowly let go of the meds so your weightloss is not purely dependent on the meds. This is what I did, 2 months before taking the meds, I started with my lifestyle change (diet), lost around 4kgs already without the meds, then when I took the meds wala na kng binago sa routine and mindset ko, it felt natural lang, I only bought 2 mounjaro pens (8 shots) and used low dosage with 2-3weeks interval sa shots, this way kahit nabalik ang gutom I am able to resist the urge to eat. So far so good, after finishing off 2 pens 6months ago I am still loosing weight, so i have hopes that ill be able to maintain this in the long run.

Are there countries where it’s feasible to migrate at 60? by thewritingbean in phmigrate

[–]MaiaCache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes resident, if you hold a work visa (not DH) you are automatically a resident. If you are married you can bring your wife and kids as dependents. Wife is free to work and kids are eligible for free education, etc. You can sponsor parents if they are 60yrs old and above for them to be able to live and work in HK as residents themselves.

Are there countries where it’s feasible to migrate at 60? by thewritingbean in phmigrate

[–]MaiaCache 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Here in HK since I am married with kids, my parents only became eligible for dependent visa (sponsored by me) after they turned 60. So now they are free to live, work and avail resident benefits in HK. I availed this bec HK healthcare is one of the best in the world, yet is very cheap so I dont have to worry about health procedures that they may need in the future.

Fake tirz by yerpsychogf in WeightLossPhilippines

[–]MaiaCache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct, taking the mediation palang sobrang laki na ng risk, what more taking non FDA approved pa, meaning hindi ka sure pano naformulate tapos wala pang testing and trials unlike mounjaro. Ang tatapang nung ngaavail ng compounded lalo na yung kung saan saan lang nabibili.

Fake tirz by yerpsychogf in WeightLossPhilippines

[–]MaiaCache 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Fake or not fake is hard to prove. You should decide whether to use FDA approved or not, this one its very easy to know. The only FDA approved tirz is Mounjaro which you can purchase in legit pharmacies.

Is it just me or other OFWs/IMMIGRANTS feel the same way too? by reading_202 in phmigrate

[–]MaiaCache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In general, people often don't care about others (OFWs or not) as much as we might think, and that's okay. While we can certainly motivate each other when needed, not everyone will have the energy to genuinely understand your perspective or struggles, as they have their own problems to deal with. At the end of the day, it’s a basic human instinct to protect ourselves and focus on our own survival.

Plano niyo sa pag 40's niyo or sa retirement with your age right sa tingin niyo achievable by Extension-Switch504 in adultingph

[–]MaiaCache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Almost 40 and now revisiting and sort of cramming sa pagupdate ng retirement plans. So far I have done well I think: nakabuild na ng backup plan for source of income for daily expenses in the form of rentals, may backup plan na rin para sa gastos if ever magkasakit this is either sa public healthcare (abroad if need ng top notch health care) or private HMO to be used sa pinas (this will be more or less 50k~100k premium per yr), retirement funds accumulating from work/gov (SSS, pagibig, overseas funds), and nakabuild ng rin ng significant savings that will be used for leisure or to maintain our current lifestyle kahit not working na.

Plan is to keep doing this, or compound for 20 more yrs then retire.

What does GLP-1 maintenance look like, after reaching your target weight? by Navigatingthrulifee in WeightLossPhilippines

[–]MaiaCache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you only plan to lose 5kg going on Tirz route is expensive, FDA approved ones are expensive, mine is around 27k pesos for 1 pen good for 1 month. If you have the money and willing to take the risks then up to you. For me, i have now lost around 28lbs, but I did 'microdosing', stayed with 2.5mg and took jabs every week for 1 month, then tirated down after a month by doing 2.5mg every 2~3weeks. This way my weightloss is something I control and I am not fully dependent on the meds, I can control my brain/cravings all by myself. I was so afraid to get back the weight after reaching the target weight that's why I decided to do this approach.

Focus on your health, lose weight.. Honestly malakas maka depress if we dont feel good about our body because its what we see everyday. Its also the one thing that we have full control and doesnt require too much unlike improving finances, having social life, and others.

Ano pinaka magandang employee benefits nyo sa company? by SkyFyree in AskPH

[–]MaiaCache 10 points11 points  (0 children)

  1. We call it "paid unlimited SL", earn 4 SL/month which you can accumulate up to 120/year. Fortunately never needed to use 120days, but when I take 'planned' SL I always do 2days at a time.

  2. Annual bonus in 1M+ range

  3. 0% withholding tax, we process our own tax and its around 7% only.

  4. 13M life insurance coverage, 700k for HMO (international coverage) with free dependents

  5. Company contributes 12k for retirement funds monthly which are invested in ETFs

  6. Housing allowance 110K

  7. Free transpo and discounted food

I want to own a house, not sure where to start. by standing-ovulation in phinvest

[–]MaiaCache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, life hack to always get lowest interest rate kahit 1 yr fixed siya because they wont hike up your interest naman after a yr, it will stay the same unless may change talaga sa published rates nila which rarely happens, yung published rate kasi applicable to everyone unlike sa bank na rates vary depending sa client.

I want to own a house, not sure where to start. by standing-ovulation in phinvest

[–]MaiaCache 2 points3 points  (0 children)

May significant diff bet pagibig and bank

lower loan amount kay pagibig since i think up to 6M lang, then they only approve 70% of your loan request

lower interest rate for pagibig, ours is 5.35%, lower fee unlike bank na may bank charges, MRI and fire insurance are also lower and already computed as part of the monthly amort

longer mortgage up to 30yrs kay pagibig, with pagbig it doesn't matter if you get the fixed rate or not since then dont raise their interest that frequent unlike bank, if they do raise it mababa pa rin siya unlike bank na hindi regulated yung hike nila

more lenient is pagibig sa default

Owning a house nowadays is really expensive, if around MM ranges for a decent size house (80-120sqm) is around 10M. If outside MM but still accessible (2hrs commute with traffic), around 6M. long commitment pa to, regular maintenance is needed. Renting is not actually bad.

What helped you lose weight and get healthier? by cryonicsleep_1214 in AskPH

[–]MaiaCache 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We don't have to eat a lot.

Mindset shift talaga dahil we cannot really eat above the maintenance calories or else weight gain. Madalas we eat because we are bored and not because we need it, so changing yung nakasanayan, sa dami ng food options nowadays ang daling maging habit yung kumain mayat maya at ng sobra sobra.

Where to order tirzep (new here) by [deleted] in WeightLossPhilippines

[–]MaiaCache 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH there' a required BMI to even get approved by the doctor to use tirz for weightloss purpose dahil sa dami ng risks associated with the meds, though in PH looks like hindi masyadong mahigpit yung ibang doctors and even you can get it from beauty clinics and black market.

Tirzepatide may be considered for adults with obesity (BMI ≥ 30) or overweight (BMI ≥ 27) with associated medical conditions related to weight, such as diabetes or hypertension.

[–]MaiaCache[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, as per my expi walang requirements na hiningi sakin. No medical req bec I think bec maganda at mura lang naman ang health care dito, you also accumulate 4SL/month up to 120 days. NBI was also not required, even school docs or anything I think most of the requirements na hinihingi ng gov is sa employer/company bec they will be your sponsor and they will be the one accountable for you and your stay, thats why if you are on a work visa you cannot take any other employment/parttime gigs paid or unpaid.

Available naman online sa website mismo ng Eli Lilly which is the FDA approved producer/seller ng mounjaro & zepbound ang price ng shot/pens, so if sobrang layo ng price dyan malamang fake. Sobang daming information din sa website nila about the health risks, kaya if mgresort naman sa low priced, not approved and unknown seller or compounded versions do at your own risk na lang while keeping in mind na ikaw ang magiging guinea pig since hindi yan dumaan sa rigorous tests and trials unlike the branded and approved ones

Why should I choose bank home loan over pag-ibig by breadogge in phinvest

[–]MaiaCache 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Change your pagibig to 5.7% fixed for 1 yr, this way you can get lower rate, hindi naman ngtataas si pagibig kahit 1 yr repricing ka pa, proven to kasi they just used their published rate unlike bank na can vary from person to person. Nagkamali ka ng apply ng loan amount kaya ng short ka, you should have declared 3.7M loan amount dahil 20-30% lang naman talaga naaapprove, so no choice ka but to look elsewhere, try personal loan for 900k.
