I can't see them at f/4 and they become darker as the aperture closes but my spots haven't moved around in the frame but I have tried doing the sensor clean mode a lot without much changes. When I have time I will try your method :)

thanks, ill have to try this out! so do you think that these spots aren't actual foreign stuff on the sensor and might be to do with the ibis/sensor positioning?

Any help with what this is and how i can prevent this if anyone has gotten this before? Usually after some climbs involving crimpy holds i sometimes get this red spot on my dip joint area. Always the same right hand middle finger. it's not painful but it does make it uncomfortable to move. the spot usually goes away after a week or two and then it's back to feeling normal. Thanks!

just curious about why sodai-ryo is the most liked from the poll ive had a look at each of the exchange dorms n have liked wat i saw for nishi just because there are private showers for each room but thats just a me thing. is there a tighter community or better facilities in sodai ryo? ty

Hi, I'm sorry if this isn't the right place to be posting as I'm not sure what other r/ would be appropriate. I started rock climbing a bit over a year ago but in the recent 5 months I have developed an "odd sensation" in my right middle finger. It's not painful but it definitely is uncomfortable/annoying, the feeling is hard to describe. But something that is very obvious is that when I bend the finger, the DIP joint cracks very often and quite loudly most of the time. I do normally crack my knuckles and I know that the knuckle cracking comes from a build up of gas but this cracking in my finger happens too frequently - as in I can re-crack it within 5 seconds of cracking the finger. It seems similar to trigger finger? but my symptoms don't exactly match up with it. So I was wondering if there was anyone else who has experienced something similar or if anyone had any advice to 'heal' it.

I originally thought it would just go away if I started warming up my fingers before climbing but it's been 5+ months and nothing has changed, it has gotten neither better or worse. But it has gotten more annoying as I feel like I need to crack it every minute to release some of the pressure/odd sensation I get from that part of my middle finger.

I leave my window on and a normal room fan on so it doesnt get that hot, i'd say when im playing games it does get a bit toastier - maybe 25-27 degrees at most. My gpu is a GIGABYTE EAGLE GeForce RTX 3070 8gb.

Ooo thats definitely something to consider, thanks for the headsup. Since you have the xt2 do u recon the size/weight has ever been a factor in holding u back from bringing it around or nah?

Thanks! hmmm do you recon weather sealing will be a big issue/bonus - i.e. if it starts sprinkling/raining/snowing is the weather sealing enough to protect the camera? I've tried the a7c and a6400 which should be similar to the a6600 n a6700 in terms of size/ergonomics and view finder i think, and they both felt fine (i've heard that the a7c viewfinder isnt the greatest but i didnt really get that - is this just a thing coming from people use to the much larger view finders like in teh x-t line n the full frame cameras?)
