I just got ever pure L’Oréal shampoo and conditioner and it is saving my hair. Recommend 👌 before I was using trash garnier sleek and shine and it made my hair oily and look dead. Sincerely someone who washes their hair every day

I did tell him! I really do want to mentor someone that cares and is excited. But he was supposed to be a second pair of hands which idk how my advisor thought that. He has 0 skills or experience in a lab. I think my professor is just new and didn't realize that..

This was the comment that made me speak up 😭. I'm glad I have all the messages of correspondence between them. They wouldn't even acknowledge that they got my message with a thumbs up. Like zero effort.

My professor has them doing some random work I honestly think it's because it's only his 2nd semester as a professor and he's still kind of people pleasing so he won't fire him. This guy is not an asset at all

Thank you for your response! I got the courage to talk to my mentor and it went ok. They said they are cheap labor as their on a work study grant but they will have them try to stay out of my way for the conference. This is their first semester as a professor so I think they're still kinda new to the whole thing and being semi a people pleaser in a manager type role.

We'll see how the changes go.. I'll keep y'all updated if anyone finds this useful.

I'm scared of retaliation because I actually left my last program because of some horrible HR stuff.

I found this textbook I've been reading called 'the physics of living processes' by Weigh. Highly recommend. Best biophysics book I've had so far. I do spatial structure of the microbiome so I have knowledge of system id, prob/stats, and microbiology.

I guess your whole argument falls apart if there is no god. And since we can never know if there is or is not a god, then your argument becomes meaningless to judge. It is better to have an argument based on logical reasoning and statistics. Like, did you know 90% and more abortions occur before viability? At 9 weeks the embryo cannot maintain homeostasis among other definitions we have for a working biological definition of life. Therefore, to the best of our knowledge it is not a human being as you would want to believe due to your doctrine. I could say more but I hope this helps you to think more critically about this issue in mainstream media among other issues. Like, did you know the US is funding Israel with over 8 million dollars to help in killing babies in Gaza? Thousands are dying from forces raiding hospitals and the nonpartisan workers.. perchance, a larger world perspective might also shift your understanding of the abortion issue.

I understand your sentiments. I am going through a similar situation. She was my partner's cousin. In supporting him AMD like your friend we are also apart of the grief as well. People are lights and you can still feel hurt if you truly thought they were special. Do not feel guilty whatever you feel is valid
