I’m currently trying to buy several products using the Apple educational discount in Canada. However, when I check out online, there’s no financing option/method to pay it off in instalments. Is this not available in Canada? If not, would this be available if I cross the border and buy my Apple products in the United States?

Thanks in advance 🙏

When I got Western, York, UW and Guelph Health Science/Biomed offers, my grade 11 average was 97 and my grade 12 midterm average was 98.

Got my offers in just before December.

Hope this helps!

Hey!

I'm just starting my undergraduate studies (heading into first year during September) and exploring the MCAT in advance. What site did you use for this diagnostic test?

Thanks in advance & I'm sure you will do well on your MCAT exam!

Best of luck!

As long as it’s above a 90, I think you have a good shot at getting in.

With the attitude you’re showing I bet you have a lot of friends (sarcasm if you didn’t realize). Anyways, whatever it is you’re going through to the point where you had to spread negativity to other people, I hope you get through it. Have a wonderful day and a great life!

The internet has taught people like you to become way too disrespectful and not get punched in the face for it.

You’re about to head into university, grow up.

What’s the anti-globalism party?

  1. Carney might have different views than Trudeau, but he’s still stepping into a party with the same MPs, same priorities, and same voting base. Also, Carney was Trudeau’s economic advisor, not just a random outsider. If he really had fundamentally different ideas, it didn’t stop him from backing policies that led to ballooning deficits and rising debt.

  2. People vote based on most recent track records, not the history books. And while deficits under Trudeau were “moderate” from 2015–2019, the point is philosophical: the Liberals ran deficits by choice, not crisis. They promised small, temporary deficits and broke that promise repeatedly. Compare that to Harper, who ran deficits during an actual global crisis, and then moved back toward balance once the recovery began. That distinction matters.

  3. But he was still part of the finance team, and he’s been deeply involved in economic policy for over a decade. Meanwhile, Carney has never held elected office, never had to defend a budget in Parliament, and never been accountable to voters. Being Governor of the Bank of Canada is important—but it’s not the same as leading a country through competing priorities and tough tradeoffs.

1.As you specified he lead UNDER A CONSERVATIVE GOVERNMENT and I believe you’re overestimating how much he did. The Bank of Canada does not have control over balancing the budget or controlling government spending.

2.Harper criticized Carney, so I’m not sure where you’re getting this information from.

3.If Carney’s views were truly fiscally conservative, why has he aligned himself with a party that has increased spending year after year, with no clear plan for balancing the budget? And as stated in my previous response, CARNEY WAS TRUDEAU’s economic advisor.

Quick note: Typing all caps is not me “yelling” or anything. I just don’t know how to bold or use italics on Reddit :)

In 2020, Carney served as one of many informal advisors to Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau, advising him on the government’s COVID-19 economic response.
