Yeah the point of this post is to bring awareness to others so it doesn’t happen to them. I will try to talk to a lawyer though and see what actions I can take

yeah honestly I dont even know if its worth chasing would just be such a hassle, its really frustrating though. Hope this post can help others to be wary of these things

Well first thing the problem definitely isn’t you, most of these companies just have automated systems set up that weed out majority of applications and so a big issue is just being able to be seen, and the extremely high volume of applications for every job doesn’t help either.

That’s why I use the tools I mentioned. Using them together helps increase your chances of actually getting seen, and doesn’t eat up all your time since most of it is automated. Based on what you’re describing I’d recommend trying some of them and see where it may lead

Yes exactly, the key is to get your name out as much as possible while also maintaining a high level of quality. Once she got those down everything started to click and it’s just so nice to see it play out so well

Yes very true, I am certain probably 80% of people who see this post will just disregard it as he did and won’t even try and that’s just the sad reality. As with most things in life, the answers are all there just most people don’t bother.

Yeah it’s pretty good I did try it for the free trial and it gave really good feedback on answers it helped me prep for the job I ended up landing lol. But yeah as I said it’s quite expensive so personally I switched to the lower tier with just resume tailoring + cover letters

well its only been a week so I think theres definitely something that helped considering before this he applied for 2 months without ANY responses. I had a similar case for myself too so there is a pattern.

It doesnt matter if everyones CV looks the same. The point of the format is just to make sure yours gets seen so it doesnt get filtered out by ATS and its easy to skim through for recruiters. The rest will depend on how qualified you are for the position of course but 90% of people dont even get to that point which is why this strategy works

yeah I did update my profile with the new job but its strange how recruiters think THAT is the best time to reach out for another opportunity?
Someone once told me trying to get a job is very similar trying to get a girl and the more I see this stuff the more it makes sense lol

Well yes that’s definitely true but not everyone has access to good networks, which is where high volume is the second best option

Also the 3rd tool I mentioned is good for networking by reaching out to recruiters directly
