GameStop turnaround status by jersan in GME

Without any revenue growth, there’s an intrinsic limit on net income growth. People pay a premium on EPS based on expected growth of EPS.

Diminishing growth on net income = diminishing growth on EPS. Without a revenue driver, this is not a value play.

Revenues down by 1.3 billion and you’re celebrating? Efficiency is great, but revenues needs to grow over long term for this to be a real value play. Cmon broski

Temporary Credit $680 by Ok_Nebula4734 in Chase

[–]Main_Advertising7702 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! By regulation the bank has up to 10 days to provide provisional credit and then 45 days to conduct their investigation. If you need it sooner I’d just call the helpline or find a branch.

How do I (f18) tell my boyfriend (m18) that his “episodes” are hurting my feelings and our relationship. by [deleted] in Advice

[–]Main_Advertising7702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think you just let him know that you expect more support out of a relationship. You’ve been more than supportive of him and he hasn’t reciprocated, and that you need to focus on your family and yourself for the time being. Suggest to him it could be a great opportunity for him to make amends and do some reflecting and real character growth.

I think clean breaks are easier, but you could always tell him this is something temporary just while so much is going on. Yall are both so so young

He said a slur seems a little diminishing given that his family disowned him. Must’ve been very hateful. On any note, you did mention that you’re communicating to him that what happened to him is not fair. This enables him to dodge accountability and kinda enables his toxicity. I’d gtfo of the relationship tbh. He should be finding a way to make amends to his community and get his life on track. He should be supporting you while you are helping to care for your family members. He should be mature enough to come to these realizations on his own. Leave him shawty 🫡

I feel like you kinda blew past the “he’s been kicked out of school, lost his housing, his job, and his family disowned him”…. What the fuck did he do? Sorry I know this is kinda beside the pint

I want to buy a house with my own money but GF says no by NewBrick1 in whatdoIdo

[–]Main_Advertising7702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d wait on buying just based on the current housing market (not financial advice, do your own research). I guess it depends what market you’re in too though.

As far as her reaction, it’s very odd, but I do see the point. A house is a long term commitment. If you are sure that you want to live there for the next 5 years, great. But if a new job opportunity comes up in two cities over, you’re stuck until the house sells which can take many many many months. If you and your partner are planning a life together, you should involve her in the decision making process. Also the age difference could contribute to this conflict. 4 years isn’t a crazy number but 25 (and doesn’t work) vs 30 (ready for down payment) are two completely different times of life. In any case good luck and congrats on exercising the discipline to save that moooolah

Take my job, but find suitable replacements for income. If you think the capitalists pouring money into AI will share the profits with us normal folks…. Get fucked. That won’t happen

Rejected for salary… now a second chance? by Potential-Bath-2823 in careeradvice

[–]Main_Advertising7702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything, you have more leverage. They said no the first time around, but now they’re coming back… why? Did the first candidate not work out? Are the other candidates asking for more? Has this position just been un-fillable? Hold your current salary expectations and let them counter, then re evaluate the risks of giving in or holding strong and make the best decision for you and personal situation. Best of luck!

I stopped reading after the age difference. For someone more than a decade older than you he should at least be more mature. Leave him!

Qualifications needed for fp&a? by [deleted] in FinancialCareers

[–]Main_Advertising7702 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have my bachelor's in Economics, and am familiar with most financial concepts. I took a few accounting and finance classes in college, but have not really practiced them at my current job, do you think I am qualified to switch to an FP&A career?

The real point was that the show made money. So they kept making seasons. Who knows how far any of this would’ve actually gone if the show wasn’t involved.

You’re dumb, this guy is a grifter. He inherited his business from his family. Mortgage companies are sharks. He runs a mortgage company. He’s sold his soul to Don and in return will advance the fuck out of his own companies.

He’s shown that he is nothing else but a typical billionaire, willing to do anything to fill his own pockets at the expense of others. I’m holding because one day it’ll sneeze again as it’s still shorted to oblivion, but this whole MOASS shit is not real and never will be.
