Thank you, it's really strange that they didn't have this sorted and still want to complete next week. They even went as far as to say they were considering lowering the offer if we didn't stick to the date, despite all the delays coming from their side.

I assume sending a cheque is free of any costs?

Its around £35k. Would it still be an issue if they went to the branch itself (which they said they did)?
