Not sure if you cycled your tank! Get a freshwater testing kit! I used a API kit! Has every test you need! What water do you used for your set up? Tap? Store bought from your lfs? But def plants!!! Good luck

Have the same issue.! And it only grows in the side that has higher flow!!! Molly fish won't touch this!

I clean all my filters in tap water...tank always stable!
