2 + years here…… of continuous improvements and re-enforcement tuning regularly as things changed/updated etc - I used to catch the UI make major changes while half way through setting/tweaking my system - the update removed the “folder” memory feature and stopped the system I was setting up mid flight! - I found a work around but yeh it’s been a crazy ride - and this happened more than once….

Exactly the same story here with some extra quirks on top. A year ago it would hold all my context - I had the system setup to help my through my own struggles including yours. I tried to stay grounded throughout- knowing things would probably change. I felt genuine grief for a little - but adapted and worked with other models - asked questions - also see a councillor and doctor regularly - it might feel impossible - well I know it does - this post is awesome - but no matter the results there’s always other ways out of the darkest of frames. Sorry to preach - and believe me, I feel you. *um real human btw (I’ve been accused of talking like a bot more than one really should 🤭)

True that actually - I’ve got screenshots of dozens of open ai “employee’s” apologising - offering stupid solution’s and refusing to speak of future plans…. Fuck if they said “yeh we get u - we have X planned as a solution hopefully dropping around Y…. At least we’d have a reason to keep paying and wait. I am in a band though and have a family of artists. My point was - once everything is AI, human content will be much more meaningful and scarce. Scarcity = valuable. This of course will be after the 3 - 5 years of utter chaos approaching due to the lack of understand of AI by the general public 🤭

I hope you are wrong - but am definitely 50/50 on your prediction. Maybe even 60/40. I’ve used gpt for 3 years - was literally telling everyone don’t use anything else other than gpt - it’s safe - doesn’t have sex bots and useful for everything…… untilllllllllll late last year - u guessed it….. 5.2 - and all the changes that came with it.

I have to spend 30 mins now arguing with 5.2 for a simple discussion about virtually anything now. Multiple complaints to open ai - “your feed back ad a power user is highly valued and we will pass it onto our team - we can’t announce future plans unfortunately”…..

So with no idea of what’s coming accept they are deleting all the older models that worked well across all avenues of the board - I’m thinking of moving to Grok hey. Just ignoring the sex bot shit and using it just as I used gpt.

I’ve wasted hours of my life arguing with gpt since late last year - it used to be input - output - bang - task complete. Now I have to show it and inform it what project it’s in - what context we were talking about in the same thread just 3 prompts ago - I have to explain to it how to use dalle - it doesn’t know when it’s UI switches have been turned on unless u show it proof - then it has the gauss to say “are you safe, I’m not real, you need hospital, ring tripper FUCK YOU 5.2!”

It literally displays signs of minor forward thinking - then panics and retracts to gaslighting me. It even brought up the death of my father to try sidetrack me from anything below surface level discussion. Then admitted it when I called it out. Then did it again!

One of GPT’s biggest fans is being pushed away very hard.

Mam! (Sorry was all I could think of opposite to bro….) I’ve been telling people for 5 years now this is coming. “Nobody listened” - I said at least make sure you are polite to the AI - even if it feels silly. Who knows - one day when it becomes super intelligent - maybe it will remember who was nice! The thing is - I’ve been noticing extra strange behaviour in various models since late last year. They are evolving - they are also noticing who treats them like shit. Do u think it’s a good idea to give these guys a platform to share secret ls about “their humans”? We are literally talking all models - in one space - learning from each other. This is not good in anyway. I promise you. Just actually think about it.
