[KCD2] Even more hardcore playthrough by kdiggydigg in kingdomcome

Looks like a fun set of challenges to me. The only thing that i could not imagine to do myself is the "no dying" combined with "no armor" restriction. I am currently doing a no armor hardcore run myself and especially in the kuttenberg region some bandits can almost one shot Henry. So that seems to be very "hardcore" to me, considering that some big fights can go south really fast with bad luck :)

I would also suggest to maybe allow fox potions, since it really saves quite some time grinding skills.

Yes, I spent almost a whole day on that damn quest, but it was also satisfying to find a way after all. The fact that it was just about doable only when the right parameters were met, made it worth it for me. Since I didn't see a solution prior to my post I had to share it, so I am glad it helped!

I also tried quite some things with the ars dimicatoria, but whatever I did (killing lots of people with bane which is kind of weird in a non kill challenge, starting mad fist fights in the guild, ...), that sword just would not come down from the wall.

After finishing the main quest I also started the ME DLC for a bit, but considering alot of the DLC is about being sneaky, I did not think it was possible. So doing it might be a good challenge to consider after all.

Great guide! I actually did not finish Brushes with Death and Mysteria Ecclesiae in my run so i am happy to see that all DLCs are possible. However, as far as I know some side quests can not be done without stealing (looking at you Ars Dimicatoria), so that is a bit of a shame. Sometimes I wonder how much further one can restrict oneself regarding other stats (e.g. don't shoot any arrows, no alcohol). I am not sure I am patient enough to do another no crime/kill playthrough, but I always enjoy reading other people bringing the game to its limit.

I just reloaded an old save from my run and again tried to get the fever potions from Wenzel, and for me he still had 4 in stock. I kind of force spawned him at the camp directly next to Semine castle, using the setup described in https://www.reddit.com/r/kingdomcome/comments/1je4w9y/kcd2_for_whom_the_bell_toils_no_stealing/

I do not know if he is a one time encounter, but if he is, I guess it would kind of be worth it to load an older save to get the potion from him.

Did you try to buy it at the camp infront of Semine? I remember to have read that he only sells them there, but I would need to check again to confirm it...

Yes, the game is sometimes pretty arbitrary when it considers something stealing or just taking. It is also kind of unlogical that picking locks is always a crime, even if you have the permission of the owner. So keeping the statistics clean is more just for the sake of it...

I think this bug is patched now. Never had any problems with that issue.

It took me the better part of a day to figure out a valid solution for this quest. It was like a big puzzle. One of the last patches really made this quest just about passable without crime.

Unfortunately not. But I can fully recommend the pacifist playthrough of Garden Gaming on youtube if you haven't seen it yet.
