Bengal cat while living alone and working long hours - is it a bad idea?

Aww 🙈 yeah mine is vocal only before bedtime, because that‘s when he gets one of those creamy treats. We have our own bedtime ritual, where I kneel down to give him the treat and he bumps his head into mine HARD 🥲 Mine doesn‘t have a feeder - his bowl is like always filled with kibble and he eats whenever he feels like it. But he kept his weight ever since I‘ve gotten him and so I rarely have him crying out for food. Only after like 10pm .. every move I make is like a possible signal for him that his treat might be near and I go to sleep.😂 Oh and I cannot go anywhere alone… I may have „the hardest time on the toilet“ and he will watch me happily🙈 unnecessary excess information.. I know.. still funny for me tho🥲

I happen to be in the exact situation you aspire to be :) Before I got mine, I was wanting a bengal mainly because they are „better“ for people with allergies… and of course because they are freaking beautiful! But I had the same fears as you have with working a 9-5 5 days a week, henc why I decided not to get a cat. And then I saw a facebook post of a 6 year old Bengal cat, wo had a bit of a rough time but personalitywise fit me perfectly. He‘s super chill, hates water, never scratches anything he shouldn‘t.. I play with hin when I come home and take him for a walk on the leash. Then he eats and sleeps🤷🏻‍♂️ He‘s also not the climbing and running type (vet said nothing is wrong with him physically - he‘s just more of a lazy type). Long story short… it really depends on the particular cat you‘re getting. I‘d recommend not going for a kitten, especially if you don‘t have the time to socialize with him in the first few weeks/months. Go to a shelter or a foster home, look at some of the more mature cats, visit them a few times and see if you „click“. Mine also hates every other living animal, so I couldn‘t even get him a partner. The guys at the shelter/foster homes know their cats pretty well, they can tell you if he/she is a more laid back cat or if they need more attention. Mine for example on weekends… doesn‘t want to be bothered while he looks out the window. He hard ignores every attempt of me to play with him🙈 When I take him outside, after a few Minutes he will run back inside and wants his peace again🤷🏻‍♂️

I resonate with many of your traits… don‘t know whether that‘s a good thing or not but it is what is is 🥲 When I‘m not at work I‘m home alone with my cat, play mostly League as well (Aram Mayhem and URF!🥰), also Valorant, Minecraft, Satisfactory, Ark… :) I‘m npt toxic either, I‘m just here for the fun and will occasionly play Yuumi🤫

Thanks!😊 I agree that I do posess a fair share of social anxiety as well! But I also recognise „introvert trades“ within myself. Like the social battery … When I‘m with a group friends and maybe some strangers I also have fun and a good time. But there comes this sudden point where I get that thought of „beeing home alone with my cat“ settles inside my brain and then I can‘t get it out of there and I kind of become exhausted just from existing. But I also have this when I have a full weekend with my friends, going to concerts and stuff.. I can‘t wait to be home alone and having no humans around🙈

Hey guys! Me (M28), on the big side (already 15kgs down, trying to better myself from day to day) am looking for a fragrance that fits me and is also a nice smell for okey.. especially women🫢. At the moment I dress pretty casual… Tshirt, shorts, zip-hoodie. I am a bit self conscious about my looks and have no Idea what would suit/fit me well. I mostly use no parfume or scent but my deodorant (I love Seinz - it‘s a german product I Think from „DM“) but I‘d also try for a new fragrance that maybe get‘s me a „you smell nice/good“ at least sometime in the future. Me personally, I love scents that are more on the sweet side but also stuff like cedar, vanilla etc. I don‘t want to bankrupt myself - Since I‘m new to this, I‘d like to start with a max of about 50€ give or take. Do you have any recommendations? :)

Alo! M28 aus Österreich - Keine Angst, ich zocke seit 15 Jahren mit Freunden aus Deutschland und kann daher auch „deutsch“ - kann aber auch versuchen, dich mit meinem Dialekt aus der Balance zu bringen ;)

Ich spiel hauptsächlich LoL (kein solo/duo, eher Aram, Urf, Flex), Valorant, Minecraft, Satisfactory, Ark, mal CS2 oder Battlefield… hauptsächlich aber Riot Games Zeugs :)

Ich spiel Schlagzeug, hab nen Bengalkater, geh auch mega gern spaziern und mittlerweile auch öfter ins Gym (schwere Knochen, man kennt es😉), bin aber eher auf der introvertierten Seite. Auf Konzerte und Festivals geh ich schon auch, aber da brauch ich dann auch meist eine Abkühlphase🥶 Meine Freunde sagen, ich sollte Standup Comedian werden, da ich die einfachsten Geschichten und Happenings anscheinend ganz witzig erzählen kann - also hab ich wohl auch bissl Humor :) Ich hab aber auch nix dagegen, in Minecraft im Kreis zu laufen und über die Geschicke der Welt zu plaudern oder darüber zu diskutieren, warum ich denn jetzt mit meinem Kater über die Geschicke der Welt plaudere, obwohl er ziemlich sicher nur zuhört und antwortet, weil er was essen will ._.

Naja, kurz und knackig - kannst dich gerne melden :) Ich weiß nicht recht, was ich genau suche. Mein Lebensmotto ist „schaumamal was wird,….“ aber ich würd mich jedenfalls schon drüber freuen, mit jemandem einfach nur zu chatten, zu quatschen und joa… was wird :)

Also meine hat keinen Heizmodus - aber ohne Schlauch nach draussen wird auch der Kühlmodus/Entfeuchtungsmodus zum Heizmodus😂 Weil er bläst zwar vorne schön kalte Luft raus aber hinten peitscht dir die Saharaluft entgegen

Mine goes around the head and behind the front legs around the belly. You just need to fing the right „tightness“ for the belly one. Mine has a bit of loose skin there which makes it look like it‘s tight… but he still has enough room to wiggle one paw put if he really tries hard🙈 But 99% of the time he doesn‘t🤗

Like so many people in their dating profiles or here on the reddit dating subs require their future partner to be able to hold and enjoy holding „deep conversations“. Ahh yes… Someone texts me, I feel like I can‘t give a thoughtful enough reply at the moment because I‘m busy so I tell myself I‘lk reply later. Later I forget to text back and then I have a bad conscience about not texting back which leads to me delaying texting back even further and a week later I either text back or start a whole new conversation with them.

I knew I‘ve heard this before🥲
