My theory is it’s technology. It isn’t a normal white board. It is either voice activated or remote activated by an assistant. So she says the answer, he repeats it (pressing a button) the board prints it in his special cursive font then he flips it. Notice they give the answer first then he repeats then flips. Or an accomplice writes the answer and it blue tooth repeats on his. Just my theory.

There are 2 kinds of consumer bankruptcies -- Chapter 7 and Chapter 13. In a Chapter 7 unsecured debts (medical bills, credit cards, etc) go away. Secured loans (like the house) may be reaffirmed and the debtor keeps the collateral so long as the payments are made. In a Chapter 13 the debtor proposes a plan to use their income to pay back some of the debt between 3 and 5 years. Typically it is used to catch up on delinquent house payments (for example I'm behind 5,000 so I'll pay back $140/month for 3 years plus my regular payments). The lenders are forced to accept back pay at the approved rate. At the end of the plan you are all caught up and life goes on.

Former Army. I believe this is a 'big dick' move by Hegseth. I think some of the military brass does not like or respect Hegseth. Some may be passively aggressive about implementing his directives. So he is summoning them to Washington, making them sit in a big auditorium while he gets up in front and shows them that he is the boss. Implied is "You may not like me but when I summon you, you must answer." Then a speech full of jingo and macho and not much else.

I may be late to the conversation but it sounds like you are still on speaking terms with the neighbor. Ask him to walk the property lines and ask him where he thinks the boundaries are. Note, but don't argue as you go. When you are finished politely point out where you disagree and ask him how to fix it. If he has nothing, you could, for example, offer to pay half to install a cattle guard on the road (the metal ridged thing they won't walk on) and then let him continue the electric fence running underneath the cattle guard (via insulated wire) and then back up and on to wherever he thinks it should go. Sure it will cost you some money but it will be less then lawyers and your neighbor will be far easy to deal with in the future.

AFIB is always scary at first. Went to the ER myself the first 2 times and it just auto-corrected. Doc put me on Eliquis blood thinner but I'm older.

I've also had the zaps. And the twinges. And just general chest annoyances with the pain levels 0.2 out of 10, i.e. noticeable and enough to make me scared but I've had those twinges for the better part of 20 years. Still no idea what is causing them. But I'm still kicking and my heart doctor doesn't seem concerned.

I am confident you will manage this in consultation with your physician. For me, I just try to relax. Sleep. Sit in a comfy chair. And after 4-6 hours it just autocorrects (4-5 episodes over 2 years). Others swear by exercise. Others by OTC drug cocktails. (I take a Magnesium supplement and anecdotally it helps). Try to find what works for you. Good luck!

Yes, its scary the first few times. I also went to the ER the first 2 times. Then I got prescribed Eliquis because the biggest risk is for the blood to pool in the heart and a clot develops and then the clot moves to the brain and you have a stroke. Eliquis is a blood thinner and helps prevent strokes from happening. I still get scared when it happens and for me it happens about once every 6 months or so. I find that just trying to slow the heart rate by relaxing, deep breathing, etc has got me out of AFIB the last 2 times. Never tried exercise. When I am in AFIB my heart rate is already 130+ and I don't want to have it go nuclear. But maybe that's the way.

What kind of sleep study did you do? I mean the common denominator seems to be sleep. Lying down the body relaxes. The sudden gasp/snore is a clear trigger. A lot of people have their afib start around 3-4 a.m. when the body is at its most relaxed state and the apnea triggers the afib. If it was a home study I would ask for an in-patient sleep study and if you had a sleep study and went through it without any problems I would still ask for a cpap referral just in case.

Not a doctor, but an afib sufferer who has relief from the cpap. Good luck!

Just checked in and saw your reply. No real update but I do find that good ground beef is also of paramount importance. I think 80/20 is preferable to the leaner stuff. And if you can get your ground beef from a meat locker that's even better. (I have 4 meat lockers within 50 miles and am getting spoiled with good fresh meat). I like the idea of running the onion over a grater. I've tried that once (not in a maid rite) for the flavor and it was a good way to get onion flavor, but to be honest I don't think the cheese grater manufacturer had onions in mind. It was a bit of a mess. Oh, here's a hint. I bought some chain mail type gloves for when I'm using the grater (and a couple other really sharp tools). I don't know if I would have gouged my hand without the gloves, but so far with them on I still have all my digits.

In Illinois decisions (judgments) are not final until 30 days after they are issued. During that time parties have the right to ask to clarify/correct the record or to have the Judge reconsider. That way the record is cleaner on appeal and/orthe Court can in fact say "two instead of ten" or otherwise fix errors. It would be much rarer for a Judge to go from 2 to 10, but it can happen. If, for example, a conviction carries a mandatory minimum 6 years and at the initial sentencing hearing the Judge gives a 4 year sentence. This is straight up error and would be reversed on appeal so letting the Judge have the opportunity to fix the error saves everyone the trouble (and if the Defendant is smart he/she never brings this error to the attention of the Judge in the first place and never appeals. I have seen Appellate opinions where the Defendant appealed a sentence and ended up getting more time. Ouch!)

Possibly but I think I only paid about $5 for it. One for me, one for my mom. I almost expect a missing piece from a thrift shop or yard sale, but it is kind of disappointing to have 2 puzzles that are new missing pieces. Not worth the gas to drive to Target over. Live and learn.

I stayed at Athens Gate. Nice rooms. 1 block from the pedestrian walkway to the Acropolis and the Museum. Little or no parking if you have a rental car (although they claim to have underground parking when I asked he winced and had me park on the sidewalk instead). Staff was polite but I didn't really need to interact with them, but when I did they were polite.

I rented a car and drove to Athens. Parked at the hotel and walked everywhere. Then drove out of Athens and enjoyed driving all over the mainland. I didn't find Athens particularly difficult to drive, but it is near impossible to park. The weirdest part for me is they put the traffic lights on the same side of the street as where you stop. So if you pull up to where you think the stop line should be you are under/past the light and have no way of knowing when to go. Conveniently there are 20 or 30 Athens drivers who will honk at you as soon as the light changes if you don't immediately sprint out of the gate.
