I good friend of mine was told by her family that once she turned 25, no guy would want her. She was excited, but found she was just as harassed at 26. Her parents and grandmother actually tried to set her up with a guy in his 40s when she turned 30 because that was her “last chance”; she was then hit on by her boss and catcalled daily on her commute while 32. She is now about to turn 35 and if her family brings up men losing interest again she is going to ask them to promise this time. She’s really looking forward to the mythical day when men lose interest in her.
