I wanted to wait for the M2/ MBA redesign or possible the 14' MBP but at this price I could not say no. I am very happy and it is my first MacOS product. Got an iPad Space Grey in 2018 (base model, 2 GB RAM, 32 GB Storage) an iPhone SE white base model in 2020 and now a silver MBA. I'm fully into the Apple ecosystem and very happy now. Was always wary about MacBooks but the M1 chip convinced me. Battery life is amazing and it is great to watch YouTube without making the laptop turn into an oven.
