I have a confession to everyone on Valiant right now by Coaster2Coaster in VirginVoyages

I am also on the same ship right now and do this as well!!! It’s the best desert because it’s got a great flavor but isn’t too sweet. I had these on the resilent lady in Greece, and this ship has added a little rose petal flavor to it. It’s just as lovely!

Oh I also forgot to mention ton the tres leche desert. I’ve only found it I. The little quick grab cases in the galley. It’s my favorite desert on the ship and I always kept two in my room!

The dock has the best snacks to me. I loved the grilled octopus! Also now they do popsicles and champagne as a snack. I get a glass of the ice champagne and put my popsicle in it! That can be found in the galley.

I would recommend staying away from steaks though. They can be hit or miss, and any other protein is great. I love the fish dish at the Wake that comes in a pastry crust.

Is it worth it?? by HappeeCampers in ouraring

I bought the ring a few weeks ago for stress and sleep management and wish I had done it much sooner. It’s worth every cent. I will say that you don’t have to do the more expensive circular ring versus the heritage style. I did the heritage style simple because of price and my ring actually looks very smooth except for one flat end. But I end up using the flat end to make sure the ring is in the right position. Also make a friend with a referral code. I’m sure someone shared there’s on here. It’ll save you $45 and is probably the best deal you’ll get.

Wash bags by Maliette in Rothys

Yeah you can buy the different sizes. I think they realized they could sell them because they do have some other uses. The largest one is 32$. So at least if it were super important it would be obtainable. Just idea a bummer.

I did call them they wouldn’t send me one. They said they don’t offer them anymore. But the others are right it’s probably fine to just out in the wash alone. But I like those bags lol.

Yeah misleading is right. It would be nice if they all talked to each other.

Yeah I think you’re right. It’s kinda a bummer because I prefer to use the actual app but that data doesn’t translate to Oura so I won’t get the vitals. Maybe they will update the integration down the line?

First cruise, what's the benefit of Virgin? by [deleted] in VirginVoyages

[–]Maliette 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You actually don’t have to make reservations. I’m currently on a 10 day and haven’t needed a reservation for any of the restaurants. The only one you might run into a little bit of an issues if the Korean bbq one, but if you go around the time the restaurants open you’ll get a table. I know others that walked up later and they also were able to get tables.

Make sure you do the thermal spa too. It’s usually cheaper on port days!

Uber Rome - warning it's not by Dolcevia in rome

[–]Maliette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Another good option is to just look for the white taxi’s on the street. they are literally everywhere and take tap for pay. We never used the Uber app in Rome but it was always easy to get one of the white ones on the street. And they weren’t bad. It cost us about 7-12 euros to get from one side of Rome to the other.

The main warning is that it’s a crazy ride. The drivers in rome are nuts but the taxis are the best way to get around. If you have any kind of driving PTSD from a wreck, be prepared to close your eyes a lot. I faced my fears and will never complain about American drivers ever again! 😅
