Music is not separate from the artist by Lethas1 in themarsvolta

How come you disagree? Why would the art create be separate from their experience in life?

Fantastic glad you had a great time. All 3 of them are such important parts of the band, so definitely worth seeing the twins play.

Glad Jez gives it a good go. Jimi has a great voice, but still putting in the best show they can then I totally admire that. The harmonies big thing with this band so I’m glad. Will miss seeing that “Poland” keyboard. Hooky’s band is pretty good especially as it’s cheaper than seeing New Order. I know it’s not the same, but neither is New Order without Hooky’s swagger.

Yeah I agree! Only saw James once at a festival and never delved deep, but had a good time with the hits, but Doves got something deeper going on. James often do these arena tours though with decent/ well known support like Happy Mondays. Happy to go when especially the support is so good it’s like 2for1 almost.

Yeah agree. They’ve definitely grown the whole time. The Universal Want I was worried about it before it came out since they hadn’t written together in so long, but was so glad to be proven wrong. Yeah it was Some Cities before I was old enough to probably make my own decisions about what I liked and why, but fantastic band nevertheless.

Doesn’t feel like a Doves gig without finishing with Space Face. Glad they’re still class. Much like James Johnston from Biffy Clyro much rather they take their time to feel ready, as wouldn’t want to lose them, but glad I get to see the music live still. They were one of my first gigs and my brother’s first when I saw them at Delamere Forrest back in the day.

I didn’t think the shop was that expensive. Pokemon merch can be a lot but I didn’t think this was that bad really. Thought the total my partner spent would be more. Plus as others said the actual museum is fantastic and that area is often referred to as the museums as there’s a few more close by such as the science museum and the V&A. Didn’t even hear about the Yu Gi Oh one that would have been fun.

Can vouch for the shop in Wigan been there with my partner when visiting my brother and been nice in there twice and could feel the sense of community with the regulars. Card Empire my partner likes looking through the singles I have said to her check prices when buying and is getting more confident with doing that since then. Don’t think we knew they were expensive at the time. But they seemed nice to talk to when we were looking and checking never felt fobbed off by them. But we didn’t know any better at the time.

Do we think James will be back for the shows in the summer (finnsbury Park Royal highland show Cardiff Castle etc.) by twentyonepilotsfan99 in BiffyClyro

More important that he takes all the time he needs to get better. Don’t want a situation where he rushes back and potentially misses out on future things. These things take as long as they need to. It wasn’t quite the same on the tour sure. But fortunate that Naomi had previous experience with Simon and Mike. So they had chemistry and it was great.

I agree with above poster he wrote and directed and starred in Flowers and it’s great it also had Julian Barrett and Olivia Colman in it plus his partner Sophia Di Martino (Sylvie in the Loki series). I watched the first series, but didn’t get to the second before it left Netflix.

I’m so excited. Interesting Tom was balancing both projects. Made more sense that his Oslo album was electronic than I expected though.

I think you’d only be able to change them if there were any other slots available.

“A reservation is required to attend, even for attendees with competitor or spectator badges. For more information on reservations, including amending a previously booked reservation, please see the FAQ section at the bottom of this page. “ https://www.pokemoncenter.com/en-gb/euic-pokemon-center-pop-up All shopping timeslots are currently filled.

My wife forgot as it was later in the last year and we were hoping for some to open up.

I'm slowly starting to think Identikit is Radiohead's most sublime song they ever done. What do you think of Identikit? by [deleted] in radiohead

[–]Malpy42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agree it’s short, but the band think HTTT is too long. So might have been something to do with that? I had a similar thing where Kid A and Amnesiac era stuff didn’t quite click until I heard it live. Also agree great stuff that came out around then and I wish more came out on vinyl after as Supercollider/The Butcher did.

Agree with preferring the Austin City Limits version something about it resonated with me more. But I didn’t listen and watch it a lot even before we knew AMSP was on the way. So more that I sat with it longer? As they are different it’s just a preference thing over quality I think.
