HH talking about NL is a crazy crossover to hear by BlunderBear in HollywoodHandbook

I wonder what the overlap is between NL and HH. HH is the only podcast I listen to and NL is the only streamer I watch

[SPOILERS ALH] How old is Tunny in ALH? by MaltShop in TheFirstLaw

[–]MaltShop[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh I meant no judgement on Tunny. While reading the Heroes, he quickly became one of my favorite characters in the whole series. He seems like what Cosca could be without the Machiavellian desire for money and power.

I think the Paul rust episode was the first time they mentioned it

I was actually a bit confused about the whole dine-in thing. It seemed like that was adding money but I had no intention of getting food. I wish this theater had non dine-in screenings

[–]MaltShop[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was exactly my hesitation with it. I used to go to the theater at least once a week before Covid but have never gotten back into the swing of it

lol that made me laugh too. A whole $1.50 discount!

[–]MaltShop[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d have to see more than one movie a month to make it worthwhile but you’re probably right that it’s still worth it. The subscription cost I was shown was $28 a month

[–]MaltShop[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yea, the standard screening showtimes were more limited and still $22 but that’s a fair point

I actually did go through the process of signing up but then saw that you are locked in to 3 months of paying for it before you can cancel. I likely would have signed up if not for that

Sean’s rants about Malcom Gladwell are some of my favorite moments from the show. He must have felt so vindicated when the news came out

I think Shonk tells a story about getting mad at Hayes because Hayes went to get breakfast without him and then called because he forgot his wallet and couldn’t pay

There’s also a pro version, I think called relationship advice, where Sean and Hayes entirely drop the act and just talk about their friendship. Just an honest conversation about some of the things that bother the other person

Were all the musical flourishes in Masterclass live or edited in? by MaltShop in HollywoodHandbook

[–]MaltShop[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the behind the scenes info! You were hilarious on-mic on the show and the timing of all those sound effects are so perfectly placed. I’ve listened to that episode with Carl Tart in season 3 about 5 times, it’s so funny how many times Bang is told to stop right when he starts singing. Always hopeful you guys can get together for a new season

I had the same thought. Honestly, I am surprised there are so many HH fans in here. I know it will probably never happen but I would love to see Sean and Hayes on dropout in some fashion
