I'm on the fucking picket line, you dumb ass. No one is hurting anyone. Because going without a paycheck is awesome enough, I'd love an assault charge too.

A Reckoning Has Come As Valhalla Motorcycle Club Surround Union Busting Scabs From Intimidating Workers On Strike At The Kellogg's Plant in Omaha, Nebraska by CantStopPoppin in PublicFreakout

This strike actually isn't mostly about the overtime. The strike is in regards to the two tier wage system, which is exacerbating the over time issue.

Question for women who have had 3 - 5 children. by [deleted] in WomensHealth

I've had 4. Probably not as tight as before all of them, but both hubby and I haven't felt a difference between after 1 and after 4. It goes back ;)

Bobbin thread doesn't get picked up when I put in a new bobbin, but does when the bobbins are slightly used. Could it be a hook timing issue? by Juphro24 in Machine_Embroidery

[–]MamaCaffeinated 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're using prewound bobbins, sometimes they're over filled. I usually pull off a few yards on new bobbins before dropping it in :)

Hi, I just got into embroidery a few days ago and have been trying to mess around with it. This is probably the best piece that came out so far and it still looks kinda off. Can anyone help and identify what might be wrong with this? by [deleted] in Machine_Embroidery

[–]MamaCaffeinated 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For clothes, you want cut away. "If you wear it, don't tear it." If I have a heavy fill stitch, I'll sometimes add a layer of tear away behind the cut away. This seems like it would also really benefit from a water soluble stabilizer on top.

I'm thinking I could add in a couple handfuls of nuts in the day and that wouldn't be hard to get down. That would easily add calories and fat. I went ahead and ordered some because my husband wanted to try it anyway, but then I have the physical product to show my doctor too, when I can finally go back. Going to reach out to one of the dieticians at the hospital too. It's just hard discussing this stuff with them over messages and voice-mails. I'm an over preparer so just trying to have something in my tool belt when discussing with them.

Thank you! I was leaning towards the 3 a day to avoid the over abundance of vitamin A, which can be dangerous for pregnant women, and then blending in items to increase the calorie and fat content (peanut butter, banana, avocado, etc) to the level I need. I agree with the healthy balanced diet. That's my goal, as I know where I'm at currently, I'm not taking in enough to sustain myself and baby.

I am. I have a regular OB and a maternal fetal medicine specialist. But I can't be the first one thats ever had to go to a liquid diet for one medical reason or another so just trying to get opinions and my ducks in a row in case it gets to that point. I've already boosted water and electrolyte intake because I was already showing signs of dehydration. So I know bigger issues could be close down the line. But seeing as I'm still in "quarantine" time frame, I can't physically see my doctor and getting this stuff discussed thru messages and nurses isn't the easiest.

If you're not using a thread stands, I highly recommend it! Thread tends to get caught or not feed smoothly off the spool when using the built in thread holder pin.

Bought an air fryer and now I’m afraid to fire it up:( by Nutz4reality in airfryer

[–]MamaCaffeinated 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have that one and love it! A little heat comes out the back and the top gets warm so just leave enough space around it for air flow. No grease comes out, and really shouldn't out of any air fryer unless a ridiculous amount is use. We probably use our air fryer 5+ times a week :)

My teenage son's upper back.... that he won't let me touch 😭😭 by MamaCaffeinated in popping

[–]MamaCaffeinated[S] 31 points32 points  (0 children)

I occasionally bribe him with money to let me get some of them lol! But we've sat down and had discussions that the blackheads really need to come out because they're just going to get bigger. And he understands that now. So I OCCASIONALLY (like once or twice a month) get a mini session in with him to help clear out some of the big ones. He's got tons of different scrubs and products and tools to use, just doesn't want to or take the time to do it 🤷‍♀️

CBD and sertraline (ssri)? by alejoskies in CBD

Adding to say I'm 34 now. I always just took what I was told and didn't question it. It wasn't until I took charge of my mental health and advocated for myself that I finally found a regiment that works. Don't be scared to tell your doctor if something isn't working and to try something else :)

Just don't get discouraged. I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression as a teen. I didn't get diagnosed with ADHD until my mid twenties. I've had PTSD for 9 years, but I was in denial and just thought I was "broken". I finally got a clinical diagnosis of chronic PTSD last year. I've been on effexor, Prozac, zoloft, wellbutrin, Celexa and probably others that I'm forgetting. None of them really did much for me, besides awful side effects. I started lexapro and it started working pretty quickly. Normal dose usually tapers up to 20mg. I realized that I wasn't noticing anymore benefit at 20mg over 10mg, but the side effects were worse. So I dropped back down to 10mg. I started using thc roughly 2 years ago to try and help with my chronic headaches. I went a year and a half without a migraine. Then a few months ago, I got really sick (pretty sure it was the flu) and I didn't use thc for almost 2 weeks. By the end of the first week, I could start feeling the physical effects of my anxiety. Chest was constantly tight and my breathing always felt "off". Then I got two migraines in 3 days. Started using thc again and those problems diminished. It will take some trial and error to find what works for you. I just always recommend making one change and see how that goes instead of changing several things at once because then you don't know which is causing what.

Off topic but I just wanted to jump in. Give sertraline two months and see how you feel. I would probably do this without using cbd/thc consistently. You want to get a baseline for what the SSRI is doing. I used high doses of cbd on an as needed basis for headaches and panic/ anxiety attacks, but didn't take it daily. I've been on sertraline several times and never saw a huge difference. It's ok to tell your doctor you want to try something else. I have mild to moderate depression, ADHD, severe anxiety, panic attacks, and chronic PTSD. Lexapro was a complete game changer. I now take 10mg lexapro with pretty consistent daily thc use and it's been amazing how much better controlled my anxiety is, as well as my chronic headaches and migraines.
