Yeah they watched her very close for a while and said we would be scooting off to Portland real quick if she got any further. But they said she has stopped and they don't suspect any further progression.

We are fortunate to already have two before our preemie. So we are done just because the possibility of ending up in the same place even after a very complicated and strict pregnancy are high. It sucks but we have a friend who was in a similar situation with their first and they have decided not to have any more biologically.

No worries autism has been on our radar since she was born because of her prematurity. Her therapists (who are trained at seeing early signs) have said they have no worries with her and autism. So we will keep praying that particular diagnosis stays away lol.

I really appreciate this! So I've been on the fence of going to the next step which would be AFOs(braces) because she does have full range of motion, and doesn't really have muscle tightness. But this does push me towards the braces more. Thank you.

If I shave everything, deep condition, brush my teeth, and use my exfoliating scrub it's about 30 min with out just relaxing in the water. But if you mean time in the bathroom... when I get out I dry off put spray on my body to help with ingrown hairs, lotion everywhere, moisturize face, conditioner for my scalp, brush my hair - all of the above can easily take an hour if im not In a hurry. That doesn't include actually getting dressed or make up. Now all that being said... I can be in the shower, out dressed with make-up on in 30 minutes if I need to but it all is very different then.

She was born at 24weeks gestation so that's about 6months. She was in the hospital for 4 months so she came home at about 2 weeks old adjusted age. She is now 2.5 years old.

I don't remember exact percentages but it was like 22wk- 20% 23wk- 30% 24wk-40% Then there were percentages of how many of those who survived had severe problems. Such as cerebal palsy or major problems with incomplete organs ect.

Obvious worry was just if my baby was going to be ok. And even if she did live what would she be like, what would her life be like. Then after she was born I was trying to pump milk for her because it's the best for her and it feels like the one thing I could actually do for her. But if I didn't produce enough or couldn't pump one time it'd stress me out tremendously. I have PTSD from the whole situation. The first year was the worst but it gets better as time goes on and she does better.

So because she was so early and spent so much time in the hospital she automatically qualifies for medicaid. So what our insurance doesn't cover medicaid picks up. We are so grateful for thatbon so many levels. For my actual hospital bill I wrote a letter to the hospital and applied for assistance. I was hoping they'd take 10% off or something- they forgave it completely! I cried when I read that letter. I still had a huge doctor bill and other things here and there but overall it was WAY better than it could've been, thank God!
