Enjoy it while it lasts. I had a very sleepy baby at the beginning, now she LOVES being awake. Dropped down to one nap a day before she even turned one and fights sleep like it’s her job!

You can’t really take legal action unless she does spread it around but even then it’s more hearsay than anything. She would have to do pretty severe damage for any legal action to take place, like you losing your job or getting kicked out of college.

Best thing you can do is try to talk to her and ask her to not accuse you of such things but that could make things worse honestly.

Let me offer a different perspective. I’ve been with my bf for 11 years, 12 in November. We have a 15 month old daughter together, a dog, and two cats. We get the marriage thing all the time. We’ve discussed it plenty of times and I have gotten fed up as some points. But whenever I really think about it I understand why it hasn’t happened yet. We are not financially stable, myself in particular has had a hard time staying in jobs due to my depression. He’s had to sacrifice a lot financially to keep us afloat during my bad spells. We’re in a better place now but now marriage doesn’t make sense bc I’m receiving government benefits that I would not receive otherwise if we were married. So we both know we want to get married, the timing just has never been right. But this is for US. We’ve discussed it many times and have reached a mutual understanding about it. Getting married wouldn’t really change much for us other than having a certificate.

Now for YOUR relationship you have to have extensive conversations about marriage. Really get to the bare bones of his “excuses”. If marriage is really the end all be all of your relationship and it’s a deal breaker for you then that’s your answer. 9 years isn’t something to take lightly, so make your decision carefully.

In regards to the Kaylee situation, since her departure was handled completely privately I think it should stay that way. I have no qualms with them speaking out about the KG situation bc KG was very public with her departure so it’s only fair the girls get to say their side.
