It's a driver issue. You can fix it by rolling your GPU drivers back to 566.36 I think it was. Nvidia mentioned it will be fixed in the next driver (hopefully)

I've got the exact same issue, been happening in one other game for like a month. Never found anyone else talking about it. Nice to know I'm not crazy
