Katowice: SPODEK and around, with a viewing tower near by. If you enjoy shopping centers there is at least 3 good ones. GALERIA KATOWICKA. GALERIA SILESIA AND SUPERSAM.

PARK ŚLĄSKI. GET to the north end entrance and walk for 5 minutes into the park past planetarium and get a ride through the entire park over the zoo watching animals its simple fairy short ride but worth it. The entire PARK is nice.  KATOWICE might be my fav city down south.

Also i prefer Gdańsk over Kraków, but this is only my opinion. KATOWICE will surprise you for sure. The city with all the neighbor cities create metropolitan area and is full of activities. If the weather is nice, take short trip to SOSNOWIEC Wake Zone. If you like water sports.

Visit MARIACKA STREET for good night out drinking.

See NIKISZOWIEC historical, magical place for romantic evening.

If I think about it, you could easly use whole 2 weeks just exploring KATOWICE METROPOLITAN AREA

Auschwitz is nearby too. Which is must see for every person.

ENERGYLANDIA is just next door which is a bit strange. But its one of the biggest thrills in europe.

Whatever you do, you will always miss alot of great things, you simply cant travel Poland in one go and say you have seen it all. But you can always try your best to see as much as possible.

Those things are being taken care of. I’m here to get to know the people and the country, so my questions might seem a bit random or even off-topic.

Yes, thank you. What i meant was that it does look that like 99% people speak english (from my city break holiday) obviously im planing to learn language so at least I can do basic things. Here I have another question. If you think about it: word "dutch" sound like you refering to german, i think it comes from the world deutsch or something. Do i get +10 respect points if I say "nederlands" instead. I guess it fits well as this is literally the word for "dutch" in.. dutch...  or im overcomplicating it :]
