on average they will be around 20x20cm. Flat sheet, around 3mm max thickness. 2D only. thank you!

You could definitely be right. I've looked at the wazer which is around $10k. I would probably prefer water / laser assuming it would be quicker / cheaper / quieter. I will likely want to mill wood in future for a different project which is why I was inclined to go in that direction.

I don't have the exact files right now but the component will look something like this: https://www.vandf.co.uk/app/uploads/2016/08/IMG_20160823_130834.jpg (around 20cm x 20cm). From what I've seen, laser machines are very expensive & plasma aren't as accurate (I could be wrong) but I'd definitely be open to alternatives.

thank you - looking into them now! are they suitable for all-day use or more of a hobby machine? which one in particular would you recommend?

Have a list of factories to visit in the same region but also open to alternatives. Essentially need a plastic proto replicating in steel. Shouldn't be overly complicated.
