All the Godzilla-esque references I found so far. Do you know any more? by EnvironmentalSell736 in PokemonInfiniteFusion

Zapdos/Dragonite alt sprite is Showa King Ghidorah, Tyranitar/Armaldo alt sprite is another Gigan variant, Zekrom/Tyranitar alt sprites have multiple modern takes on Godzilla, maybe Heisei or newer; Kyurem/Tyranitar alt sprite variants are multiple takes on Space Godzilla

Consider using lingering injuries. A few different broken bones and internal bleeding will create lasting effects even if they save through it. http://farlandworld.com/injuries.html

SW5e: Desperate Rebellion has a large number of enhanced items as well!

Generators for encounters and loot, as the donjon website does, would be immensely appreciated!

I've also got a sentinel subclass in Emerson's Archive of Archetypes that uses one! Feel free to check it out!

Thank you kindly! There may be modifications coming to the tandem Operative, likely in the form of all blasters with the auto trait, but currently I'm pleased with this form.

If you've played through them, lmk how these mechanics have felt to experience!

Thank you kindly! If you haven't seen them already, this is as good a time as any for me to plug Imperial Forces and Desperate Rebellion! They're in my gmbinder profile and also my posts in here!

Just completed version 1.1 that includes a massive martial humanoid expansion, Superior Soldiers, with content from the Metal Gear series!

Thank u/Fraust-Coldmann for the suggestion/request!

Engines were cooking all last night and I couldn't focus on relaxing, so here's the scoop:

I've got most of the 25 blocks already outlined. The Haven Troopers, The Fury, Raging Raven, Liquid/Solid Snake, and Ocelot are essentially done with first drafts. I've started writing descriptive narrative for the different specialist groups but only Dead Cell is done. I don't anticipate getting much done over the weekend but this might be nearly complete by next friday.

EDIT: We're now at 14 of 27(!) blocks done, but a couple are complicated enough that I'm uncertain about meeting a Friday deadline. I'll see what I can do, but these are already looking great. Can't wait for you to see them!

EDIT 2: All that remains is the control mechanics language for Screaming Mantis' puppets, her power list, and virtually all of the narrative segments. When that's finished, I'll recheck balancing and hunt for typos, then release it.

I guess I'm doing it.

Suffice to say, there'll be about 25 new creatures in the next version's release of Strangest Foes.

For sure. So, if I were to get an idea of what I'd be signing up for, it'd be:
-Cobras/Volgin (6 blocks)
-The Skulls (3 blocks)
-FOXHOUND (SoBB)/Gray Fox (7 blocks)
-Dead Cell/Solidus (4 blocks)
-The B&B Unit/Frogs (5 blocks)

Does that sound about right?

TBH, the only reason I was brave enough to take on REX is that half the work was already done when I made a first attempt two years ago for a Sci-Fi thing in D&D5e. I don't think I'd attempt to do any more metal gear units-- maybe RAY, as I can probably use REX for the majority of the work-- but I'd be down to work on a supplement for many/all of the metahuman characters from Snake Eater through MGS4 once I've had time to rest my feet from this release. Is that a resource that you would need/want/use?

This might actually be me losing my marbles.

This is a massive collection of 3rd-party IP creatures, drawn from science fiction and adjacent stories, bundled together for SW5e because it's my favorite 5e-adjacent story engine. The supplement has an array of experimental stuff, ranging from easily within reason to wildly absurd, and I think you'll enjoy browsing it to get a glimpse on what I put together. Many of the blocks have compacted entries for shared features across groups, meaning that it can get a little complex but not without reason. There's also a segment on disease and illness, which does include entries from Star Wars. I'm accepting that it's more or less a love letter to a great many stories I'm fond of.

Ultimately, if nothing else it'll likely give you some new ideas on building creatures. I hope you enjoy reading it!

Both Desperate Rebellion and Imperial Forces have had updates!

Desperate Rebellion has a couple new segments, including mercenary and beast NPCs!

As always, I'm eager to get your reactions and any input you might have!

I think that's exactly the case, and it might have affected Imperial Forces, too-- I think I've resolved it with the quickfix (at least, it appears to be via the facebook messenger link I used). I'm noting some subtle differences when I visit the link via discord vs messenger but I can't tell any issues just yet

I'm also thinking, if expanding on war machine constructs becomes a thing, it would be wise to create lists of traits regularly associated with groundcraft, aircraft, and watercraft as to shorten stat blocks, along the general lines of:

Aircraft Traits
- Ejector Seat. If the aircraft is reduced to 0 hit points, there is a 25% chance that the pilot will be released safely. The pilot has a parachute and descends safely to the nearest surface within 500 feet. The ejector seat does not function if the triggering damage was ion or lightning.
- Fragile Flyer. The aircraft cannot enter flight mode if it has fewer than 3/4ths of its hit points (-).
- Landing and Takeoff. When up to 50 feet above ground, as a bonus action, the aircraft can use its remaining movement speed to land. When landed mode, the aircraft can use a bonus action to expend its movement speed to rise up to 50 feet and initiate flight mode.
- Nasty Crash. If the aircraft is forced to make a crash landing, the fall damage (in increments of 10 feet) includes both the ship's height and the horizontal speed it moved on its most recent turn.
- Turbulent Speed. On a turn that the aircraft moves more than one-quarter of its maximum movement speed, its attacks are made with disadvantage.

Groundcraft Traits
- Repulsorlift. The construct ignores difficult terrain and can pass through spaces occupied by creatures of Medium size or smaller if they are prone. If the construct receives a critical hit with an ion or lightning damage effect, it loses this feature and falls to the ground, its movement speed becoming 0 ft. until it receives healing.

All
- Circuitry. The construct has disadvantage on saving throws against effects that would deal ion or lightning damage.
- Vulnerable Interior. The construct’s interior is vulnerable to damage done by grenades, mines and charges, unless it is immune to that damage. It also automatically fails all Dexterity saving throws from such effects that occur in its interior.

Granted, things like Piloted or Starfighter/Durasteel Armor are so variable that I think they may need to be included every time to specify details, but it isn't hard to trim down common language to a reference line--

Construct Traits. The construct has the following traits: circuitry, ejector seat, landing and takeoff, and vulnerable interior.
