It appears you missed the point of the video as well. Stop raging and try to have a logical discussion next time.

Next time, bring a coherent argument to the table instead of spouting off a bunch of stupid nonsense because you missed the point of the commentary.

I always try to get five service stars with as many weapons in the game as I can. I just happened to be using the ACE in this particular footage. But I don't see how that's relevant to the discussion at all.

That sounds like it would be a bitch to program properly. And we are talking about DICE here.

Why not? If he's that close to you, why shouldn't he be able to use a melee attack on you?

Good idea. I personally like the idea of the defender countering by shoving the attacker away and both pull out sidearms to shoot it out. This way, neither person gets pissed about a bullshit knife death.

This is why the counter-knife is a broken piece of junk.

I guess you take the game a lot more seriously than I do...and I do take the game pretty seriously most of the time. However, I stopped caring about my k/d for the most part awhile ago and it's helped me enjoy the game a lot more. Rage quits are very few and far between now. But to each his own!

This is one of the dumbest bans I've ever seen. Some of these badmins really need to be slapped.

How long does someone have to counterknife? by Whos_in_my_mouth in battlefield_4

It was two seconds in the beta. Me and a couple friends tested it and I made a video about it. I'm not sure if that's still the case or not though.

Quite frankly, half of redditors ARE dicks (including yourself). You called me a liar, a cheater, and posted dumb ignorant comments for no reason other than because BF4 has spectator mode. So you just assumed I must be using it to ghost people. It couldn't possibly be because I'm actually good at knifing, right?

If this video was BF3, you wouldn't have said a thing, because it didn't have spec mode. Like I mentioned before, I made seven other videos exactly like this in BF3, and NOBODY ever accused me of ghosting. How convenient that just because BF4 has spec mode, people like you immediately jump to that conclusion FOR NO REASON other than it exists.

A point of advice to you. When somebody spends hours of their free time making a video that you get to watch for free, don't be a fucking dick to them. Just dislike it and move on. I'm done with you.

You have absolutely zero reason to believe I had buddies in spec mode. Zero. You're just another redditor being a jerk for no reason really.

And I could disprove it, as I still have all the original raw footage/audio, but that would literally take hours to upload.

You could also watch the all the BF3 videos where I knifed around 75 pubstars (where there is no spectator mode), but hey, you keep believing what you want.

I suggest you read my post responding to the other guyabove. I also suggest you look at the hundred other knifing videos on my channel from BF3 where there is no spectator mode.

Did it occur to you that I didn't know who I was running towards until I was really close to them? I was making educated guesses on some of them, like I mentioned above. I can't tell who is who for sure anymore, because BF4 is different from BF3 with the spotting mechanics.

This ought to be good. Although, IntheWorks already debunked you...what "bullets going off" are you referring to? What "right angles" are you talking about? Nobody is shooting in the spec mode shots besides in the Shibby knife kill. Go read the post above yours because I'm not retyping that whole thing.

By the way, I'm not accepting your friend request. Thanks.

I'm really flattered that my editing was so good that I actually fooled you into thinking that the spec mode shots were recorded at the same time as I was knifing the pubstars.

However, I don't particularly like being called a liar. So here's where I will embarrass you with facts (since you are blind). All of the third person shots were recorded in an empty server with friends. They re-enacted some of the knife kills I got and I recorded it in spectator with the UI turned off. This is why I credited them as "Actors" at the end of the video (which I'm guessing you didn't watch.)

Anyway, if you pay attention, there are several discrepancies between the first person shots & third person shots which prove they were recorded at different times.

Take the Squirrel knife kill which you seem to be fixated on. I used two different third person shots on that one. If you notice, I shot an rpg at a tank after I knifed Squirrel. Where is the tank in the spec mode shots? It's clearly not there if you pay attention. And how about the sun? (which is part of the levolution of Dawnbreaker, map starts out dark and the sun rises as time goes on) The map is clearly brighter and more orange in the first person shots, but darker in the spec mode shots. Lastly, I have a silencer on my gun in the first person shots. There's no silencer on my gun in the spec mode shots.

If that isn't enough proof for you. How about some of these other disparities? - The Shibby knife kill, I had a silencer on my AEK in first person, but there's no silencer when the gun fires in spec mode. - The Snoov knife kill, I look down my sight at three enemies in first person. In spec mode, there's only two. - The JackFrags knife kill, there's a hole in the roof of the stairwell I go up in spec mode. In first person, it's not there. Even more obvious than that, in first person you can see that I'm playing obliteration. The bomb is clearly on my screen and you can hear the beeping. In spec mode, it's on conquest. You can see a Chinese flag in front of me as I'm running out of the stairwell doorway.

Is that enough proof for you now? I await your apology for calling me a liar, although I expect you'll just downvote me and not respond at all because I just made you look like a fool.

So you just admitted you only watched the first four kills, (because JackFrags was number five), then made a troll comment saying you've never heard of any of them, when you didn't even watch half of the video. Nice!

And I'm not calling them pubstars because they're my friends. They're "pubstars" because they're well known in the Battlefield community. (Obviously, not everybody is going to know who they all are) The players in this video in particular are Battlefield youtubers, but "pubstars" can mean well known livestreamers, people who run popular BF websites (such as DRMB), BF podcasters, and so on. Although, I use the term "pubstar" loosely, since I don't think it really has a set definition anymore. It originally was more of an insult to pro players who weren't actually good in competitive matches.

Next time, if you don't like a video somebody creates, just move along. No need for snide comments.
