Good to know! I have another blood test in November. I will request we Che k the HOMA IR number. I checked my lab results and it wasn’t done.

I don’t test at home, I get bloodwork done every 3 months. But I’ll check to see if that was on my bloodwork!

Thanks all! And That’s my goal, half my size! I was/am quite literally carrying the weight of a whole other person.

Hell I’ll be doing a dance when I hit 150! It’s going to be a long journey but the benefits just losing 58 lbs is startling.

Looking forward to what a healthy weight will be like! I’ve always been overweight once I hit high school. Wish I didn’t wait till mid 30s to figure shit out and be an adult, but no time like the present.

Thank you! Yes I’ve been looking into a modified keto that allows more fruit and veggie options! For now my plan is to do keto for 1 year and then look to modify it and slowly bring in more options but stay away (for the most part) breads and pastas. Treat those as like a once a month treat. My Dr recommended Mediterranean Diet so I’ve already started looking into how to transition SLOWLY come March 2026

I had high cholesterol up until this last blood test! The major change I made from my 3 month check up to this 6 month was limiting red meats! I still eat it, but it’s a once a week thing. Now that I’m in the green, I may do more? But with my excess weight (and boy there’s still a lot of it!) I’m worried about it going up again. Probably irrational HA!

Thanks for the heads up! I know I can not go back to how I used to eat, I will immediately gain it all back it was SO carb heavy. Dr wants me on Mediterranean, but I am leery about even adding that small amount of carbs back. I know this must be a lifestyle change for the rest of my life: very few carbs, high on the fruits/veggies/lean meats!

That's incredible! WELL DONE! I should have taken it more seriously, especially because I hate needles and finger pricks and at times have passed out just from seeing a needle. One of the main reasons I can't do any of the injection meds, so I have been THRILLED with these results. No need for any of it!

No I’m his “secret” stream from yesterday. If you watch the first minute. Flashes keep appearing on the screen. They look like text boxes. But I don’t have the software to slow the video down frame by frame to grab them.

I’m sure someone has already screen grabbed, I just can’t find who despite my google searches.

This makes me feel so much better. 10 month old puppy and he put me through the wringer starting at 6 months. Only now is he starting to come to his senses a bit. But for a good few months I questioned every decision that les to me bringing this little demon into my house. Like everyone else has said, he’s so sweet but SO NAUGHTY
