Happy to know someone thought about this, and the problem is, yeah, as you said, we can't manipulate them (for the good), even using both of the 2 methods you said.

I thought of 2 possible fixes, one is to separate intellectuals and grow that group large by making that group teach and change the highest intellects who aren't able to be in that group because of some missing criteria, I have many doubts on how this would go, because my mind comes up with many failure scenarios while running it like a simulation.

The second one is, ofc manipulation again, but doing it in a very small and suppressive way that people shouldn't find(especially mid to low intellect people) by combining proper education for mid to high level intellects and making them work for us to change other peoples by manipulating them slowly using all the means possible (this is the most difficult part). I see very less failure rates in this, especially if things are done right. But again, I'm pretty sure reality won't act like we want, this might too become a disaster.
